Synopsis
She never feels the moment her heart turns toxic, festering with regret, like a wilting purple hyacinth-aching under the weight of its sorrow. ... What will you do when your past comes and knocks at your door? What will she do? ... There’s a saying that if you hate something, that hate will come back to you, and if you love something, that love will come back to you. Tian Chan Juan had always dismissed this idea as a mere superstition, until her own experiences seemed to confirm its truth, albeit partially. Born into a life of privilege, she had thrived on the attention and company of others, shunning solitude. She had once believed her life was akin to a fairytale, where she was the beloved princess living a carefree existence. However, the harsh realities of life soon thwart this illusion, leaving her feeling abandoned and utterly alone. In the depths of her despair, Chan Juan resigned herself to her newfound isolated existence, cutting herself off from everyone and everything as a form of self-imposed punishment. But was this isolation truly her punishment, or were there still more trials to come? Just when it seemed like there was no way out, salvation arrived in the form of another person. This individual became Chan Juan's second chance at truly living and feeling alive, doesn’t whether she deserved it or not. However, as events unfolded, it became apparent that this second chance was not what she had hoped for. When she realized that her past mistakes continued to haunt her, she was forced to reckon with the consequences of her actions. In the aftermath, she was utterly devastated, stripped of everything she held dear, enveloped in a pervasive solitude born from the wreckage of intense suffering. Yet, with time, she found a way to reconcile with her new reality, feeling that it was a just consequence for the pain and sorrow she had inflicted upon the innocent souls who cherished her. In an act of self-forgiveness, she embraced each pang of agony without shedding a single tear. As she grappled with this self-condemnation, the universe couldn't help but wonder what the future held for her. Would she find a way to break free from the cycle of her mistakes, or would she be forever caught in their relentless grip? * Novel will be updated daily*

Chapter 1 - Him /Her

Her

The mirror always shows your real self. Right. Like a Reality check!

Just like this was always showing her. That she could never live her life as a normal girl. At, one time she

was.

Yes, Tian Chan Juan was abnormal. Since childhood, she had been suffering from a rare medical condition

known as scoliosis.

At the age of 10, her parents got to know about this. She didn't know how but they just did.

And, like any caring parent, they immediately took her to the doctor for treatment. There she got to

know that her spine was not straight. Rather, she had a c- the spine-shaped curve in her back but a

mild stage. It could be severe as she grows. So, to stop its severity at a young age, she had started to

wear a back brace and the worst part was, that it could not be curable.

They were shocked to know that, and so was she.

Perhaps, they knew that her life wouldn't be easy now. And it wasn't.

Since that day she started to live as a girl who had no one to make her life easy, no home to return to,

and no friends to laugh with. But she was just a child.

Did anything remain? her cicatrix. her disability.

So, where was she? Yeah.

These stupid mirrors always mock her, this was and would be her life.

She hates mirrors. Especially, Because of him.

Even this lifeless glass knew that she wasn't one for him.

Who him? Right? Her Naive Mistake

And, she knew she would always pay for it.

She did.

Him

Money is everything. There is nothing superior or inferior to this. It is amusing that, from trivial

things for living like food, clothes, and shelter to the zenith of power in this so-called high society,

everything can be procured, with these lumps of lifeless papers.

This was what life taught him.

Li Xiao Dan was born in Wangjiayuan's slums. He grew up there with absolutely nothing. No name,

no birth date, no parent. Even, His name was given to him by himself. No one knew whose child he

was.

Everyone told him, he was found in the slum hospital wrapped in just a baby towel.

At an early age, he had seen everything poverty, hatred, discrimination.

So, he strived for only one aim. He was determined. For money. For power. For perfection.

No one could stop him. Not even her.

It would be just him and his goals. No one had the right to come in between them.

She was not part of it and never would be. Or so he thought.
