I slipped into my nightdress while Reese chatted with Castiel in the living room. They had been talking since dinner, and I didn't want to interrupt their conversation, especially since I had no idea who they were gossiping about.
I've come to cherish every moment of my marriage, especially nights like this that remind me of our usual routine back home. It warms my heart that Castiel was the only father who came to pick up his child at the reception. The other moms shot me odd glances as he swept Reese into his arms and held my hand while I carried her bag. She eagerly recounted all the fish she'd seen, including a goldfish she proudly identified as Nemo.
"Can I get a fish, Sweetheart?" she asked Castiel.
