5 YEARS LATER
Izuku Midoriya, or as his best friend Katsuki 'kacchan' Bakugo called him: 'Izu' walked out of a dojo with Kacchan and their moms.
Him and Kacchan had grown, standing proudly at the heights of 4'3 and 4'5 respectively.
The new pro- Eraserhead was someone Izuku had told Kacchan about, and both agreed that even without a flashy quirk Eraserhead was someone who was, as they put it, very cool.
Inspired from his fighting style, both had asked their parents that they be enlisted in a dojo to be able to fight like that.
Izu had enrolled for jujutsu, mainly because it needed you to be flexible and with his quirk he could easily manage that.
Kacchan enrolled into karate, a fighting style which went great with his quirk.
Both were learning basic Judo, mainly as restraining techniques against villains.
Izuku would also be learning Kenjutsu and basic Iaijutsut.
Kacchan had told him that Izuku's quirk wasn't exactly an offensive type, so a weapon could be useful. Izuku would have asked why Kacchan wasn't getting one before remembering that the latter's quirk was literally making explosions.
"Oh? and who might you kids be?" A man with spiky black hair asked as he walked towards the door with a duffel bag in his hand "New students at our dojo?" he asked kindly, stopping and crouching slighly.
"Y-yes. I'm Izuku Midoriya. This is Katsuki Bakugo" Izuku said, stuttering slighly.
"Well I'm Jin Mori. I'll be teaching Jujutsu and taekwondo, if either of you opted for that I look forward to teaching you." he said as he stood up and continued walking towards the door.
"Y-yes! I look forward to learning from you" Izu said as he bowed slightly.
"We have got to do something about your confidence Izu" Katsuki muttered as he pulled Izuku by the elbow towards their cab.
3 YEARS LATER:
"Heck yeah 'Zuku!" Katsuki 'Suki' Bakugo yelled as Izuku defeated his opponent, a boy with a tail quirk, by sweeping the latter off his feet with a quick kick and a quick thrust at the throat, preventing the tailed boy from breathing and hence forfeiting.
Izuku walked down and bumped fists with Suki as he grinned and said " I'm just built different."
Hitoshi ' Hito' Shinso, the new friend they had made during their first year at the dojo took a staff and threw it at Izuku's left hand, only for it to pass through a white light.
"Literally" he said in a deadpan.
"Yeah but it's not like I use my quirk while fighting Hito'" Izuku said as he rolled his eyes as he put his bamboo sword leaning against the wall.
"Yeah yeah" He grumbled as he grabbed a pair of Bamboo tonfa for his fight, which was to begin in 5 minutes.
"I wanna fight soon too" Katsuki complained as his fight wasn't due for another 20 minutes.
"Great fight Izuku" Hisashi Midoriya said with a grin as he walked in the room along with the other two boy's dads: Hajime Shinso and Masaru Bakugo.
"Go get em" Hajime said as he crouched down and ruffled his son's hair, much to the annoyance of said son.
"My opponent is a girl anyway" he scoffed he walked towards the stadium.
"Well that's not good" Hajime grimaced as he saw an orange haired girl girl smile sadistically towards his son for that comment.
Sure enough, Hitoshi was defeat by the black haired staff wielding girl seconds after the battle was anounced.
"Not. " he muttered as he sat down on a chair, nursing his bruised chin.
"Mhmm" His two friends said with a nod, trying to hide their smirks.
Izuku watched carefully at the girl who had defeated his friend, she was to be his next opponent after all.
They kept watched till the Orange haired girl punched a plain looking black haired boy with weird elbows in the face and knocked him out of the ring.
"Finally" Katsuki said with a feral grin as he waited for his name to be called.
"Katsuki Bakugo vs Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, ready? START!" the announcer called as Katsuki faced off against a boy their age with messy grey hair and strange white eyebrow markings.
They exchanged light blows until Katsuki used one of his opponent's left arm to pull himself under his guard, and ended the match with one uppercut.
"WINNER: KATSUKI BAKUGO"
Katsuki grinned as he looked around at the orange haired girl, who would be his next opponent. He partially made a slitting motion around his throat before he was lightly chopped on the head and was pulled out of the ring by an embarrassed Izuku.
"Now for the First match of the quarter Finals, Izuku Midoriya vs Momo Yaoyorozu!, BEGIN!"
Izuku dashed off with great speed, and swung his shinai (Bamboo sword) in an arc parallel to the ground.
She quickly used her staff to deflect the blow and jumped in with a kick.
Smirking, Izuku grabbed her leg and threw her across the ring, where she bounced against the ground three times before backflipping on her legs.
She dashed off, thrusting with her staff like it was a spear.
Izuku jumped up and brought down the shinai in a vertical swing and hit her on her right hand, leading to her dropping the staff.
Not wasting any time, he feinted a right hook to her face before sweeping her off her feet using a leg sweep.
He leaped up and used one of the two 'super-moves' he had.
'Focus all my strength into the tip, and release in one burst!'
[SOLAR THRUST] !
She rolled to the side dodging the (slightly glowing) tip of the shinai.
He pointed the tip of his weapon at her face.
After a moment of hesitation,
"I yield" she said with a look of shame.
"Hey, good fight. That kick almost got me" he said with a grin as he offered her a hand.
She gratefully took his hand and pulled herself up.
"I hope you win your next fights as well" she said with a bright smile
"I-uh, than- thank you" he said, blushing up a storm.
Izuku was walking back towards the waiting room when there was a very loud screeching sound played on the speakers, causing everyone to cover their ears and all the lights were suddenly shut off, leaving them in pitch black darkness.
He whirled around as he saw the vague figure of a man, about 5'8, grab a girl around Izuku's age with a ponytail from the fighting ring and run towards a... wall?
He was about to run after them but before he could do anything, he felt an impact on the back of his head and the world faded away into darkness.
