Chapter 11 - Wild Game night Part 1!

The sprawling mansion complex, a testament to their hard work and success, stood quiet on a typical Friday afternoon. Each member of Stray Kids was tucked away in their own personal sanctuary, a welcome respite from the relentless rhythm of their careers. Bang Chan, the ever-diligent leader, hunched over his laptop, composing melodies. Lee Know practiced his fluid dance moves in front of his mirror, a silent symphony of grace and power. Changbin, in his dimly lit room, was lost in the world of lyrics, his brow furrowed in concentration. Hyunjin was sketching in a notebook, his artistic spirit finding solace in pencil and paper. Felix was on a video call with his family in Australia, his laughter echoing softly down the hallway. Seungmin was perfecting his vocals, his voice resonating with emotion. I.N was scrolling through his phone, a quiet contentment washing over him.

Then there was Han. Han, the restless, the spark of chaos, the ever-evolving idea man, was restless. Scrolling through old family photos on his phone, a sudden wave of nostalgia washed over him. He missed the simple, carefree times. An idea sparked in his mind, bright and vibrant. He opened their group chat and typed a rapid-fire message:

Han: GUYS!!! EVERYONE TO THE MAIN ROOM RIGHT NOW!!

The responses poured in.

I.N: What now hyung? Seungmin: Seriously Han? I was in the middle of something. Hyunjin: What's the emergency? Changbin: Spitting bars doesn't wait for anyone. Felix: Coming! Bang Chan: Okay, okay, everyone please head to the main room. Lee Know: Be there soon.

Moments later, the main room, a large, open space with plush sofas and a huge coffee table, was filled with the members. The air was thick with a mixture of curiosity and mild annoyance.

"Alright, what's so important?" Changbin asked, his arms crossed.

Han grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "I was thinking… game night!"

A collective groan filled the room.

"Game night?" Seungmin echoed, his voice laced with disbelief. "Really?"

"I don't have time for this," Bang Chan sighed, running a hand through his hair.

"Same," Changbin agreed, already heading towards the door.

"Wait, wait!" Han cried. "Just one game! It'll be fun, I promise!"

Lee Know, who had been silent, observed them all. He loved the playful side of his bandmates, and he knew how much they all secretly craved a release. A rare smile stretched across his face. "Actually, I think it sounds good. We haven't done anything like this in ages. Let's just try it, guys. It'll be relaxing."

Lee Know's gentle, yet firm, voice had a calming effect. The members looked at each other, a sense of reluctant camaraderie settling in.

"Fine," Bang Chan conceded, a small smile gracing his lips. "Just one game."

Han cheered, his excitement bubbling over. "Okay, okay! How about... Uno!"

The members settled around the coffee table, a multicolored deck of Uno cards placed squarely in the center. The first few rounds were tentative, filled with quiet concentration. But soon enough, the competitive spirit of Stray Kids erupted.

"No, you can't stack +2s!" Hyunjin yelled, pointing an accusing finger at Felix.

"I can and I will, hyung!" Felix retorted, placing another +2 card down with a mischievous grin.

"That's not fair!" Seungmin cried, throwing his cards down in exasperation.

"Who put down a reverse??" Changbin groaned, his chances of winning dwindling fast.

The room was filled with laughter, playful shouts, and the constant rustling of cards. Bang Chan, despite his initial skepticism, found himself laughing along with everyone else, the stress of his work melting away. I.N was surprisingly cutthroat, skillfully strategizing his way to victory. Lee Know, with a knowing smile, observed the chaos, simply enjoying the company of his friends.

Hours flew by in a blur of colored cards and good-natured banter. The game went on, and on, and on. The arguments grew louder, the cheers more raucous, but underneath it all, a sense of warmth and camaraderie bloomed. They were simply Stray Kids, at home, together, just being themselves.

When the last card was played and the laughter subsided, a comfortable silence fell over the room. The exhaustion was evident, but it was a happy kind.

"That...was actually really fun," Seungmin said, a genuine smile on his face.

"Yeah," Bang Chan agreed, a rare relaxed look in his eyes. "We should do this again."

Han's face lit up. "I knew it! So, same time next Friday?"

"Game nights on Fridays?" Changbin asked, his voice a little softer now. He actually liked the idea.

"I'm in," Hyunjin chimed in, his usual cool facade replaced by a genuine enthusiasm.

The rest of the members nodded, their faces reflecting a newfound sense of playful unity. They made themselves comfortable on the sofas, talking about what games they should play next time, planning on making their game nights a long-standing tradition.

As they finally drifted back to their own rooms, the mansion was no longer just a residence - it was a home, filled with the echo of laughter and the promise of many more game nights to come. The simple idea of a game night had rekindled a flame of camaraderie, reminding them of the simple joys of being together, a family bound by music, friendship, and a shared love for chaos, even if it was only over a game of Uno. On Fridays, their mansion complex would transform once again, resonating with the happy sounds of Stray Kids, playing, laughing and just being together.
