I swallowed hard, my throat bobbing as I gazed at Julian who still held a mischievous grin on his face as he stared at me. I could tell everyone was waiting impatiently for me to do what he had just dared me to do and I could feel the tension weighing down heavily on my shoulders. By the side was Alex Storm, who had a smirk on his face; my reluctance had confirmed the innocence he had always suspected me to have.
"This is what I don't like," Someone blurted from the group; it was a girl.
"To do a dare shouldn't take less than two seconds" I heard the remark, and blood rushed up my neck as I gazed around; I was scared and nervous because I couldn't do what I was asked.
So I tried to play it safe by reaching for the buttons on Julian's shirt. His eyes followed the movements of my hands and before I could even touch him, he grasped my hand, his fingers sliding into mine eliciting some kind of electric waves through me before guiding my hand to my gown.
