-In the shadowy realm of Silentium, an unwavering rule loomed: to defy Sil 01 was to invite a punishment beyond comprehension. Resisting his authority was not merely unthinkable; it was a calculated move toward a fate more brutal than one could ever fathom. As the superior, his actions stood beyond reproach, carved into the very fabric of their world-
As the last flickers of the fire dwindled to ashes, Sil 07 disappeared from view, leaving behind a shimmering essence that danced through the air—ethereal waves of energy that twinkled like distant stars. This vibrant energy cascaded around Sil 01, merging seamlessly with his being and amplifying his already awe-inspiring powers, metamorphosing him into an even more formidable force.
I stood frozen, heart racing, as Sil 01 turned to face me. My breath caught in my throat, and an overwhelming uncertainty coursed through me. I was paralyzed, unsure of how to respond in the presence of this intense figure. Reluctantly, and driven by an instinctual fear of meeting the same fate as Sil 07, I sank to my knees in submission. My thoughts raced—if these beings were weren't supernatural, perhaps I could find a way to overpower them and escape.
I needed to tread carefully, I reminded myself, keeping my gaze firmly fixed on the ground.
Unbeknownst to me, a smirk curled beneath Sil 01's mask. He reached out, gloved fingers brushing against my chin, tilting my head up so our eyes locked.
"Rise," he commanded, and an inexplicable force compelled me to obey. I found myself standing inches from him, captivated by the crimson depths of his eyes.
"Stick closely to me, and no harm will come to you," he said, his voice smooth and soothing, yet laden with an unsettling warmth. At that moment, I questioned who he was—initially terrifying, now gazing at me with an unsettling softness, as if he were a lover reunited with a long-lost soulmate.
"What if I want to leave?" I blurted, immediately regretting my impulsiveness. I should have kept such thoughts to myself.
His eyes narrowed, calculating and dangerous, and I could almost envision a mad grin hiding beneath that mask. "That's impossible. You know too much about this place, and I can't allow you to walk free," he bellowed, his voice echoing in the dimly lit space.
"I'm excellent at keeping secrets," I replied, raising my hand as if to swear an oath, even though I secretly knew it was futile. He would never let me slip away so easily.
"I know, servant," he replied, the term sending an unsettling shiver down my spine. "But I've decided to make you useful. Be my servant"
"But I don't want that," I protested, stubbornness igniting within me. "I just want to return to my dorm and forget this ever happened. I swear I won't say a word to anyone, and you won't have to worry about anyone coming after you."
He let out a low chuckle, amusement flickering in his red eyes. "You think I won't burn them? Is there anyone out there as powerful as I am?" He stepped closer, a surge of intense energy emanating from him, forcing a memory of Mr. Roman into my mind. Their powers seemed similar, yet I couldn't shake the sense that they were worlds apart.
"No one is as powerful as you," I stated, watching a flicker of his aura dissipate as he halted his advance. A breath I hadn't realized I was holding escaped me, easing the tension in this perilous moment.
"Very good," he said, satisfaction curling his lips. "Now that you've agreed, I shall accept you as my servant, and you will be bound to me only while you remain here." His tone left no room for negotiation, prompting me to nod subtly, fully aware that if I ever escaped from this place, he wouldn't lay eyes on me again.
Sil 01's attention shifted away from me, settling on the figures that lingered behind. Unbeknownst to us, one of them clenched his fist tightly, watching our exchange with simmering intensity.
"Let the ceremony begin," he announced, turning sharply and striding deeper into the abandoned structure. I remained motionless, unsure of my next move as those cloaked figures brushed past me, their garments trailing like shadows on the ground. Only one turned back—Sil 05.
"You want to get out of here, right?" he asked, his voice cutting through the lingering tension.
At the sound of his words, something inside me sparked to life, and I moved closer, urgency fueling my every step. Unlike Sil 01, his deep blue eyes seemed inviting. "Yes," I replied, desperation lacing my voice.
"Seduce him. He doesn't like a woman's touch" He revealed.
Seduce? My heart thundered at the sound of that.
"I don't know how to"
"Learn it," Sil 05 said through clenched teeth, "Watch movies or experience it with someone. Before you know it, Sil 01 would kick you away and never disturb you"
He nodded knowingly before continuing, leaving me standing there, entranced by the weight of the choices I had to make.
I hurriedly followed closely behind him, because I couldn't leave here even if I wanted. The bodies of the students were transferred to a dimly lit room.
I found myself lingering at the back, cloaked in shadow, my heart racing as I took in the scene unfolding before me. Against the far wall, an exquisite golden lock shimmered mysteriously, intricately carved in the form of a fierce dragon, its deep blue eyes seeming to glow with an otherworldly light. Something dark and powerful lurked just beyond it, waiting to be unleashed.
Surrounding the lock, a constellation of shimmering crystal stones caught the glimmering light, each one a vibrant hue—fiery red, deep blue, soft pink, pure white, bright yellow, and polished black—arranged in a captivating star shape. Four stones remained conspicuously absent, the search for them palpable in the air, a promise of untold mysteries just waiting to be unraveled.
As I stood there, mesmerized, the glint of the crystal stones felt almost alive, whispering secrets that pricked at the edges of my mind. 'Come take me, and I'll grant you everything you ever wished for,' they seemed to beckon, their voices weaving through my thoughts like a silken thread.
'I'll make you wealthy beyond imagination.'
'I'll transform your beauty.'
'I'll bring you the love of your dreams.'
These enticing promises wrapped around my mind like tendrils of smoke, growing stronger the longer I gazed at them. I felt an irresistible pull as if something deeper than mere desire was drawing me closer. My legs moved as if guided by an unseen force, pushing me past the masked figures who stood as silent sentinels, offering no resistance.
Every step felt like a siren's call, urging me toward the crystals. I yearned to possess them, to claim their power. A sense of purpose ignited within me; I could not walk away without them. I had to seize this moment, to uncover the treasure that beckoned from the shadows.
Just then, a powerful hand grasped my cloak from behind, yanking me back with a force that made my heart race. Startled, I spun around to face Sil 01, my breath catching in my throat.
"That is no place for a servant like you," he thundered, his voice reverberating off the stone walls around us, each word dripping with disdain. He tugged me further behind him as if to shield me from the allure of the shimmering stones that radiated an almost hypnotic energy. "A servant never leaves its master."
A heavy silence enveloped me, and I felt my fists clench involuntarily, frustration coursing through my veins at the degrading title he insisted on using. I loathed being defined by such a role, and a flicker of rebellion ignited deep within me.
I would find a way to seize those mesmerizing crystal stones before I managed to escape this confining place; they held promises of wealth, beauty, and the kind of love I had been yearning for. Perhaps not today, but I was determined—one day, I would claim them as my own.
Suddenly, I noticed seven vibrant orbs shimmering above us, casting a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of colors that danced across the space like a living tapestry. The students began to gather beneath them, their movements dictated by Sil 01's commanding hand. Yet one orb remained lonely and forsaken—Sil 07 was gone, and his sacrifice wouldn't be needed.
Casting the 7th human aside.
The students stood with their eyes tightly closed, and heads tilted back in eerie synchronization, veins straining against their skin like coiled springs, as an otherworldly energy seemed to flow from them, connecting them to the radiant orbs above. A sense of dread washed over me, realizing the ceremony—just as Sil 01 had called it—had begun.
"What's happening to them?" I asked, my voice barely more than a whisper, fear lacing my words.
Sil 01 turned his gaze toward me, a glint of malice flickering in his eyes, almost as if he reveled in my confusion. "Their souls are leaving their bodies," he replied, his tone casual, as if discussing the weather.
"What do you need their souls for?" I found myself questioning, a knot forming in my throat as the unsettling truth hit me. I could have been one of them. I doubted these students would ever return; once the souls leave the body, they would be dead.
Sil 01 turned away from me just as the orb flickered and went off in the process.
"To restore balance in the world," He said. The students dropped to the ground, dead, never to be seen again by anyone in the world.
