Aditya logged-out from the game and came out of the gaming pod. The experience which ROL provided him was nothing short of emence. It was the first time Aditya was grateful to his old man that he was able to play a realistic game like this one because of him. Aditya was grateful doesn't meant that he will go and lick his father's feet for in-game benefits rather, he will work hard to get those benefits with his own hard work!
Aditya looked through the house for food but as he had already expected, there was nothing at all. Grumpily, Aditya wanted to curse out-loud but upon realizing that the owner of the house was none other than himself stopped and decided to go to the market.
Aditya was a very hardworking man and a talented new-age singer as well; while his career did not allow him enough money that he can splurge it like trash, but allowed him at least to live amidst all the other troubles. Aditya's father Niranjan was a stubborn man who had very old beliefs and he believed that a true man should not rely on his father's wealth too much and earn his own income. But that doesn't meant that he left his Son to rot in poverty rather, he supported Aditya only enough that Aditya did not have to struggle but he would need more money if he wanted to liv a comfortable life.
Ignoring all these old and useless memories Aditya came out of his thoughts because he had finally reached the market. In front of him, was a grand super-market containing all sorts of goodies ranging from vegetables, luxurious food items, various drinks including alcohol, eggs and also meet. This was the super-market of Mumbai. Mumbai was a very big city all in all, and it's market was also very great because except for the mondain items like vegetables and such, there were stalls for arms as well.
The arms and armor shops ranged from normal weapons like normal swords and guns to magical weapons such as enchanted flaming sword and enchanted thunder sword. These were magical items created by those who can use abilities and were known as ability wielders. These people were blessed with special magical abilities ranging from fire manipulation, thunder manipulation, and also useless once such as wood making and stone cutting. People who had these abilities were destined to be doomed unless they found a way to earn a capital. Still, even if someone manages to find a good capital they were still counted in the minorities and an ability user can easily crush them.
Someone don't have any choices to choose what kind of ability they wanted to awake and it is completely random. These ability users were of various ranks from rank 1. While rank 1 and two were in majority, rank three and four were considered a very rare and dangerous person, depending on what your situation is.
As for Aditya, he was one of the people who were deemed useless by the world. He had the useless ability of tentacle summoning. The skill allowed him to summon a swarm of tentacles and let them do his bidding for as long as he has mana to spare.
Mana, just as in the game, was the energy required to use magic spells. But unlike the game, there were no numbers in the real world to indicate how much mana does a person have. After using all of your mana, it will re-generate back naturally with time. Aditya was deemed useless because he had very less mana and he was not able to summon his tentacles for even 20-seconds; and no matter what Aditya and Niranjan tried, his mana reserves remained low as before. Niranjan was still trying to still find a way to increase the mana capacity of his son but without any success.
An alternate way was to rank-up to rank two; this way, the mana inside someone's body will naturally increase but to do that, one needed luck. And it seemed that luck was not on Aditya's side yet because even after trying for two-years he was not able to rank-up.
Aditya went towards a vegetable stall and bought a lot of vegetables in bulk. He was doing this because he planned to stay in the game for a long time and did not knew how much time it will take him to come out so he does not wanted to come out at night and die by fierce hunger.
After buying the vegetables and also some meet Aditya went back to his home and finally cooked a meet pork with some vegetables added and ate it and went to sleep.
