So, for them, this life in the game was much real then for teen who could just return back to the real world if she did not manage to do anything but currently, she was enjoying the game and had no signs of leaving the game.
The second elder walked towards the group of NPC and players and when he reached the first in-line, he draw's a sharp small blade and motioned for the NPC to walk forward. The NPC walked towards the elder nervously and when he arrived just in front of the elder the elder threw the small blade towards the boy and slightly grazed passed his skin by just a millimeter; a slight amount of blood started to come out of the boy's grazed skin. The boy shrieks in pain. That slight graze was nothing to scoff at because it made him experience a hell of pain and torment in just a single second. The NPC kid had heard from his parents that the talent awakening test was not at all harmful and no amount of bodily pain was involved in awakening process, but here he was, experiencing the most horrifying pain of his life. But he still had hope and believed that for experiencing this much pain, he must have a very good talent waiting to be unlocked and is taking it's time to be unlocked and he just have to wait for it some more.
After seeing the state of the NPC boy teen felt like something didn't fit well. In almost every other game she had heard that such rituals like talent awakening is done through an appraising Chrystal which identifies and unlocks someone's talent by forcefully awakening the Dormant sleeping talent. But this elder had used a very different method for the ritual which even damaged the boy's health severely. The NPC boy was not able to see it, but as a player, teen was able to see everyone's status except for the two elders. Her inspect skill was just at level one currently, and she was just able to see someone's stats and was not able to see there other skills and effects they might have. By this teen was able to know that the Man in front of her which was named as Fried chicken was a player and not NPC. In ROL, NPC had green flag floating above there heads and players had blue. When an NPC is hostile towards someone, that player will see there green tag turn red and will start glowing. The player fried chicken's tag was blue, identifying him as a player. Teen was not able to see anything other than that because the player fried chicken just turned towards her and asked in an anxious voice---" what is your name, tell me please! Quick!"
Teen felt strange about the man. He asked her name in such an anxious way like he is running behind a passed train. But she still told him her name---" Black Phoenix". Black Phoenix was teen's user ID for Rol. Other players who will inspect her in the future will see her name as Black Phoenix and not teen Ignatius.
The man just turned behind once again. As Teen was sighing in relief, a system message came from someone unexpected, and she was not prepared for the contents of the message.
