"Huh?"
Sui looked at the adorable girl in front of him, slightly tipsy and appearing a bit naive. He couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong?"
"It's nothing… nothing at all."
Megumi knelt on the floor, stealing a quick glance at Sui before bowing her head and mumbling softly.
In reality, she was troubled and unsure of how to handle her feelings toward Sui. Since childhood, her mother had taught her that girls should never casually show their bodies to boys. But when she thought about how Sui had already seen her body, how they had kissed, and even almost gone further, Megumi, who had always listened to her mother, felt guilty. She worried that she might have to marry Sui in the future.
But she didn't know if Sui felt the same way about her, especially since he already had Erina.
Looking at the shy and sweet expression on her face, with a hint of affection in her eyes, Sui wasn't oblivious. He had long suspected that Megumi liked him.
Although they were only friends in name, their relationship had already crossed the boundaries of ordinary friendship. They had done things that friends shouldn't do, and had once nearly gone even further.
However, they had kept it secret and behaved like regular friends ever since.
Sui's feelings for Megumi were complicated. He had always treated her as just a friend, but after those two kisses, he found it hard to see her that way anymore.
He liked her, sure, but it was more of a natural fondness for a cute girl. Yet to say he didn't like her was also not accurate. They had hugged and kissed, which created a special bond between them.
In short, while his feelings for Megumi weren't as deep as those he had for Erina and Alice, they still exceeded the boundaries of ordinary friendship.
Sensing that the atmosphere was becoming awkward, Sui coughed lightly, stood up, and said, "It's getting late. I should head back and rest."
Both of them were slightly drunk, and Sui was worried that if things escalated, something irreversible might happen.
If he were still single, it wouldn't have been a problem. At worst, he could have made Megumi his girlfriend later on.
But now, with the two Nakiri sisters in his life, getting involved with another girl would be unfair to them.
"Yes, it's really late."
Megumi agreed, recalling her mother's advice. They were alone in a room, affected by alcohol and the unclear feelings between them. Something unpredictable could indeed happen.
"Let me walk you back."
She smiled gently, stood up, and prepared to escort Sui.
"There's no need. It's just next door."
Sui waved it off.
"It's fine."
Megumi smiled, but she had been kneeling for a while, and her legs had gone numb without her noticing. She had been so focused on Sui that she hadn't realized it. When she tried to stand up, she lost her balance, cried out, and fell.
Sui quickly caught her, asking, "Megumi, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine."
Being held in Sui's arms and feeling his warmth, a hint of intoxication flashed in Megumi's eyes. Her heart began to race, and her cheeks turned a fiery red.
Looking at the cute, rosy face of the girl in his arms, Sui felt a stir in his heart, but he quickly restrained himself and prepared to let her go.
However, Megumi suddenly wrapped her arms around him, holding him tightly. Her face, flushed with shyness, leaned closer as she whispered, "Sui-kun."
Then, as if in a force majeure, she kissed him lightly.
Feeling the soft touch of her lips and the warmth of her delicate body, Sui almost lost control.
But he managed to stay rational at the last moment, gently pushing her away. "Megumi, I have to go."
However, Megumi, unable to contain her emotions, bit her lip, looked at him with eyes full of longing, and kissed him again.
"Sui-kun…"
She murmured in a daze.
This time, there was no sudden interruption.
Although Sui knew this was wrong, he was still a young man, fueled by alcohol. With the girl being so forward, he couldn't hold back any longer.
Megumi, too, had secretly begun to fall for him.
Before long, Megumi's clothes were shed one by one, revealing her snow-white skin.
Her body was as smooth and delicate as silk, with an incredible suppleness that took his breath away.
At the very last moment, Sui regained some sanity. He struggled internally, turned around, and said, "I should leave."
"Sui-kun…"
Megumi hugged him gently from behind, her hot cheek pressed against his back, her voice soft and uncertain.
In that instant, Sui's last bit of reason disappeared. He turned around to face her.
Megumi's face was flushed to the point of appearing almost scarlet, and her skin glowed with a delicate pink hue from her shyness.
She crossed her arms over her chest, lowered her head, and dared not look at Sui. It was her first time experiencing such an intimate moment, and she was filled with both fear and anticipation.
"Sui-kun, please be gentle."
She whispered, her voice trembling.
"I will."
Sui nodded.
——
The next morning, Sui awoke with a pounding headache. He had been forced to drink a lot by the uncles last night.
Looking around, he found himself in an unfamiliar room. A few stuffed toys were scattered on the desk, and the quilt smelled sweetly of a girl's scent. It was clearly a girl's room.
As he shifted slightly, he suddenly felt a warm, petite body beside him.
Megumi was nestled against his shoulder, her hands clasped in front of her, her legs curled slightly, her innocent face looking as pure as a child's.
A faint smile lingered on her lips, so innocent and lovely that it made his heart ache.
Sui also felt a pang of regret as the events of the previous night came rushing back.
Last night, he and Megumi had drunk too much, and in their inebriated state, they had lost control and done something they couldn't take back.
As he fretted, Megumi also woke up.
She blinked sleepily and looked at Sui lying next to her. A hint of confusion crossed her cute face.
Then, as memories of the night before came back, her eyes widened, and panic and fear flashed through them.
"I… I didn't listen to Mom in the end. I let a boy stay in my room overnight. Oh no, I'm sorry, Mom."
Tears welled up in Megumi's eyes, and she covered her face as she started to cry.
