Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: Miltank (2)

"Oh, that's a new breed."

Erina commented casually as she changed into her school uniform and made her way downstairs with Hisako.

The moment Miltank saw Erina, it rushed over excitedly, offering her a glass of milk.

"Thank you," Erina smiled, accepting the glass and taking a sip. "By the way, would you like to try some, Hisako? It's delicious."

"Ah, thank you."

Hisako blinked in surprise but took the glass from Erina's hand, taking a tentative sip.

"What an incredible taste!"

After just one sip, Hisako couldn't hide her astonishment. It was, without a doubt, the best milk she had ever tasted.

"Erina-sama, what kind of cow is this from?"

Curious, she asked.

"Uh... this is something grandpa brought back from abroad," Erina replied, her cheeks flushing slightly. She certainly couldn't admit that the Miltank came from the guy she was living with, right?

"I see. As expected of the commander-in-chief, always amazing."

Hisako nodded, suddenly understanding.

The two of them continued drinking a few more glasses of the milk. After hesitating briefly, Erina decided to take some with her. Not only was it great for drinking, but it would also be perfect for making desserts. She wanted to test it out at school.

Once they left, Sui slowly emerged from Erina's house.

"Morning."

The guard at the gate greeted him as he passed by. By now, the Nakiri family guards were quite familiar with Sui, seeing him leave the residence almost daily.

Erina's home wasn't the only Nakiri residence in this area. Other family members, like Alice Nakiri and Senzaemon Nakiri, also lived nearby. Seeing Sui leisurely walking out of the compound every day gave the impression that he had a close connection to the Nakiri family.

"It's such a long walk. Maybe I should get a motorcycle," Sui sighed. While Erina enjoyed a chauffeured ride, he was left to walk everywhere!

"This Sisig is so delicious, it's impossible to stop eating. Outstanding!"

The instructor of the Filipino cooking class commented enthusiastically.

"Thank you, teacher," Sui replied with a respectful bow, a grin on his face.

"Wow! That transfer student is incredible. He's getting A's in every class!"

"Yeah, I bet he's as good as Miss Erina!"

"Impossible! Miss Erina's been in the Elite Ten since middle school."

"Well, maybe he can't compare to Miss Erina, but I'm sure he'll make it into the Elite Ten soon enough."

Nearby students murmured, some envious, others full of admiration.

"Sui, you're amazing!" Megumi looked at him in awe.

Sui just smiled, walking out of the classroom with Megumi and Sōma.

As they stepped out onto the campus, they noticed many clubs recruiting new members.

"By the way, have you two joined a research society yet?" Sui suddenly asked.

"I joined the Local Cuisine Research Group," Megumi replied.

"I haven't joined one yet," Sōma admitted. Then, he remembered something. "Speaking of which, Sui, wasn't your research group recently approved?"

"Yeah, let's check it out."

Sui recalled the address Erina had given him and led them to the designated room in the teaching building.

It was a decent-sized activity room, though not as extravagant as the more established societies like the Traditional Japanese Cuisine Research Society led by Nene Kinokuni or the Sushi Research Society. Since Sui's group had just been approved, they hadn't secured a prime location.

Still, the room was spacious enough, especially considering that Erina would likely never set foot here, leaving Sui to work in solitude most of the time.

"Is that the Donburi Research Society next door?" Yukihira asked curiously. "Let's go check it out."

Inside, they found a guy with a crew cut and a small mustache, sitting despondently on a chair, surrounded by scattered leaflets. He looked utterly defeated.

"Everyone, just go home. The Donburi Research Society is finished," the guy said bitterly. "I'm Konishi Kuanichi, the leader here... but I'm the last member left."

"Why's that?" Yukihira asked, surprised.

"It's all because of that terrifying she-devil."

Konishi's face twisted with anger and despair.

"She-devil?" Tadokoro asked, confused.

"Yes, the devil Erina."

Konishi nodded, his voice filled with bitterness.

"Wait, Erina-san? But... she's always been nice," Megumi said, taken aback.

"You don't understand! This is how she operates. First, she cuts funding for societies she doesn't like, then reduces their activity space and forces them into food war. When they're desperate, she piles on even more unreasonable demands!"

Konishi clenched his fists. "She's a power-hungry demon who thrives on the suffering of other societies! On the surface, she's a model student, but in reality, she's constantly oppressing the weaker students!"

"Wow..." Sui was genuinely surprised. He had never seen this side of Erina. She was always a tsundere around him, and he thought he was the one bullying her! He often used her toothbrush and towel without permission, but she could only watch, humiliated and unable to protest.

"That's right. And now our opponent is one of her many minions—"

Before Konishi could finish, a girl with short golden hair, tanned skin, and a curvaceous figure walked in.

"Erina-sama has already decided. There's no need for this low-level society to exist."

"Mito Ikumi!" Megumi exclaimed in shock.

"Damn it! Even if I'm the last one, I won't bow to these evil forces!" Konishi declared, gritting his teeth.

"It's a pointless struggle," came a cold voice. Erina entered the room, her expression indifferent. "There's no place for B-grade cuisine in Tōtsuki."

"You're... Erina!"

Konishi trembled as he spoke, his voice full of fear.

"Yes," Erina replied smugly, looking every bit the villain.

Just as she was about to continue, a voice called out from behind her, "Hey, Erina, what are you doing here?"

PS: According to official data, Miltank produces 20 kilograms of milk per day. As for why it can produce so much despite its small size… well, even the author doesn't know.

The bit about One Punch Man is just the beginning. The real story will kick off once the door to another world opens, and the protagonist gains abilities from that world. I guarantee an exciting and fun adventure awaits!
