Muzan's laughter echoed through the battlefield, cold and hollow, as his body regenerated before their eyes. The flames that had engulfed him moments ago were nothing but a fading memory, leaving no trace of the damage they had inflicted. His crimson eyes gleamed with a mixture of fury and amusement, his aura swelling with power so thick that the air itself seemed to tremble in response.
Tanjiro, his body aching from the effort of their coordinated attack, could only stare in disbelief as Muzan stood tall once again. Despite Rengoku's most powerful strike and the relentless efforts of Gon, Killua, and Aru, Muzan's regeneration was faster and more efficient than anything they had ever seen. It was as if the fight had only made him stronger.
"We hit him with everything we had," Gon muttered, his fists still glowing faintly with nen, though his body was trembling from exhaustion. "How is he still standing?"
Killua's silver eyes narrowed, electricity still crackling faintly around him. "This isn't like anything we've faced before," he said, his voice grim. "His regeneration… it's on a completely different level."
Aru, still holding his massive sword, grinned darkly as he wiped blood from the corner of his mouth. "He's regenerating faster than we can deal damage," he said, though there was no fear in his voice—only savage excitement. "We'll have to hit him even harder."
Rengoku, his fiery aura still blazing around him, growled in frustration. "There's no limit to his power. Every time we strike him down, he just comes back stronger."
Muzan, his cold smile widening, stepped forward, his claws gleaming in the dim light. "You're starting to understand," he said, his voice a low, dangerous purr. "I am beyond death. I am beyond your pathetic attempts to stop me. This world will fall, and there's nothing you can do to prevent it."
Tanjiro's eyes burned with determination despite the fear gnawing at the edges of his mind. He gripped his sword tightly, his breathing steadying as he prepared himself for what came next. "We won't let you destroy everything," he said, his voice firm. "Even if you're stronger than us, we'll fight until the end."
Nezuko growled beside her brother, her demonic aura flaring as she stood ready to protect him at all costs. Her eyes blazed with the same fiery determination, and even though Muzan's power was overwhelming, she refused to back down.
Muzan's smile faded, his eyes narrowing dangerously. "Then I'll kill you slowly," he hissed, his aura darkening like a black cloud swallowing the moonlight. "I'll make you suffer for your defiance."
Without warning, Muzan raised his hand, and a wave of blood-red energy erupted from his body. It surged toward them with terrifying speed, like a tsunami of darkness crashing over the battlefield.
"Move!" Killua shouted, activating Godspeed as he zipped out of the path of the attack.
Gon leaped backward, his instincts kicking in as he barely avoided the oncoming wave of energy. "That's not like anything he's used before…!"
Rengoku, his fiery blade at the ready, slashed through the wave, splitting it in two with his flames. "Flame Breathing, Second Form: Rising Scorching Sun!"
But even as he deflected the initial strike, more waves of Muzan's blood-red energy surged forward, crashing into the ground and sending shockwaves through the earth. The battlefield shook violently, the sheer force of Muzan's attack uprooting trees and shattering rocks.
Tanjiro gritted his teeth as he dodged the oncoming waves, his body moving with practiced precision despite the fatigue setting in. "He's getting more aggressive… he's not holding back anymore."
Aru, moving with a speed that seemed unnatural for someone his size, swung his massive sword, deflecting one of Muzan's attacks with sheer brute force. "This is more like it!" he shouted, his voice filled with savage glee. "Come on, Muzan! Show us what you've got!"
Muzan's eyes flicked toward Aru, his expression darkening. "You're an insect," he snarled. "I'll crush you."
Without warning, Muzan lunged toward Aru with blinding speed, his claws extended as he aimed for the warrior's throat. But Aru, grinning wildly, raised his sword just in time to block the attack, the force of Muzan's strike sending shockwaves through the ground.
"You'll have to try harder than that," Aru growled, pushing Muzan back with a surge of raw strength.
But Muzan's movements were fluid, like a shadow slipping through cracks. He twisted his body, his other hand slashing toward Aru's side with terrifying speed.
Before Muzan's claws could connect, Gon charged forward, his fist glowing with nen. "Jajanken: Rock!" Gon shouted, his punch aimed directly at Muzan's side.
The force of Gon's punch connected with Muzan's body, sending him skidding backward, but the demon's regeneration was already kicking in. The wounds sealed almost instantly, and Muzan's cold eyes locked onto Gon with fury.
"You're persistent," Muzan hissed, his voice dripping with malice. "But your strength is nothing compared to mine."
Tanjiro, seeing an opening, activated Hinokami Kagura, his body igniting with fiery energy as he surged forward. "Hinokami Kagura, Burning Bones, Summer Sun!" His blade slashed through the air, aiming for Muzan's neck.
But Muzan moved faster than Tanjiro could anticipate. With a flick of his wrist, he deflected Tanjiro's attack, his claws cutting through the flames with ease. "You're weak," Muzan whispered, his eyes filled with cold disdain. "Your resistance is futile."
Tanjiro's heart sank as he realized the depth of Muzan's power. No matter how hard they fought
