" LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA".
As I went down the escalator with my bags,I saw a man who seemed to be in his late thirties holding a white board with my name boldly written on it " Welcome to Los Angeles Miss Ava ,my name is Fernando Del Montiez, I am your personal chauffeur" he said ," ooh, thank you" I said " this way" he said and led me out of the airport.
Right in front of me was a Limo ,Mr Fernando open the car door for me and I entered " thank you" I said as I entered the car. My heart skipped as I stepped out of the Limo, this is the tallest building that I have ever seen in my life,I may have seen a lot in movies but it cannot be compared to seeing one in real life " this way Miss Ava" Mr Fernando led me towards the building and open the glass door for me , inside the reception area Mr Fernando spoke to a lady who was the receptionist " this is Miss Ava, the one Mr Marcos told you he was expecting" he said " ooh" she type some keys on her office phone and in seconds,a lady came " Good day Miss Ava,am Juana Mr Marco's secretary" she said " kindly follow me" ,we entered the elevator that led us to where I was to meet the CEO.
" Welcome Miss Ava,and welcome to America" the CEO Mr Marco said " the pleasure is mine" I said ,he led me into a room filled with people along with his secretary, " everyone this is Ava Henshaw,the one I spoke about " he said
everyone came and offered me a handshake, congratulating me. " We've already discussed everything via video call but just for formalities, here is the contract" he said and handed me a file,I read everything and it was just as we discussed and signed it " that'll be all for today,Lily and Martin will take you to where you'll be staying" a girl and a boy who seem around my age waved their hands signifying they are the ones his referring to.
" Hi am Lily and this is Martin, welcome to Starlight Music Ava" she said " thank you" .
The apartment was nice and comfy and probably bigger than my parents house " I hope you like it" martin said " it's more than okay" I said " phew" Lily sighed " we will leave you to rest, Fernando will pick you tomorrow morning and take you to the studio" martin said " okay" I said " good night Ava" they said and walked out, locking the door behind them.
" Good morning Ava" the receptionist greeted " Good Morning" I responded " Ava" I turned to see Mr Marcos " Good Morning Sir" I said " this is Jung Jae-Hwan" he said " he'll be your mentor and will guide on what you need to know" he said,my eyes slowly met with Jae-Hwan eyes,my heart started beating fast,I was standing in front of Jung Jae-Hwan my idol " welcome to Starlight Music Ava" he said "t-t-thank you" I stammered,he only smiled " nice to me" I added.
As I walked into the dimly lit studio,my heart raced with anticipation ,the room was filled with different types of equipment:microphones, screen, button and knobs. " Ava,are you ready to make some magic" Jae-Hwan said " yeah" I said nervously and excited at the same time " Hi Ava" Lily said as she walked into the studio " Hii" I said Martin the engineer began explaining the setup,I have never been in a professional studio but I still had a little bit of experience " today, we're recording your debit single. We'll start with vocals, let's get you comfortable in the booth" martin said ,I followed Martin to the vocal booth,a small soundproof room with microphone and headphones " hear is how it works" martin said " you'll wear this headphone and sing into the mic , Jae-Hwan will produce and help you through the process "he added ,I wore the headphones and adjusted the mic while Jae-Hwan handed me a shit music " relax and have fun" Jae-Hwan said,the music began and I sang into the mic " wow, your amazing Ava" martin said adjusting the levels ,after several takes,we took a break " Ava try experimenting with different tones, play with the rhythm" Jae-Hwan said,I nodded.
" Listen to the playback,get a feel of the mix" martin said," perfect" Jae-Hwan exclaimed after the tenth take,we wrapped up for the day " that was really good Ava" Jae-Hwan said " thank you " I said

I leaned back on the chair, eyes fixed on Ava as she left the studio,she was energetic and it made me smile . Mentoring Ava was more than just shaping her talents,it was more of nurturing her passion. I recalled when I first started: the struggles,doubt and uncertainty.
Ava has potential , she's really good and will rise to stardom quicker than expected.
My phone buzzed with a call from Mr Marco
" How is Ava's progress" he asked " she's doing pretty great" I said,her voice turned serious " we need to discuss her branding,the executives wants a clearer image " he said " Ava background is her strength, let's not over polish it" I said " I know but we have to consider marketability" he said " let's just focus on her music Mr Marcos, let's not do things that may affect her later" I said " fine but keep me updated" he said and hung up.
AVA
Days turned into weeks and I was making progress ,my debut single was approaching " AFROSOUL" " I can't believe how far you've come Ava" Jae-Hwan said,as we finalize the track, Marcos scheduled a meeting " Ava it's time to discuss your music video" Marco said " really" I said " it's about time we introduced you to the world" Marco's said and my excited turned into nervousness, this was it ,but am I ready ,I asked myself " don't worry Ava , you'll do great" Jae-Hwan said reassuring me.
