As we prepared to turn in, I stood on the same spot as different thoughts run through my head.
Bassam patted my shoulder as we headed to our rooms. "Don't overthink it, Ethan. We'll get to the bottom of this. And when the time comes, we'll be ready."
I smile as I walked into my room to give my bones some rest.
