BOOM!!, BOOM!!, BOOM!!!
The atmosphere was crisp as fireballs flew, setting nearby trees ablaze.
"Jeez, Ethan, do you and Flaming want to turn this innocent forest into a wasteland?" Ryan coughed, waving away the smoke that was obscuring his view.
"You love complaining, and you're so lazy," Blake said with a smirk as he dodged Bassam, who was closing in on him fast. They both pivoted, keeping their sparring fast and fierce.
"What do you mean? I'm stronger than you, so don't spout nonsense," Ryan shot back, folding his arms with a smug grin.
Blake scoffed. "Stronger? In your dreams! Pretty sure you're just mad Flaming has been throwing fire balls at you."
Ryan shrugged. "Hey, I can bet you are jealous of me!"
Ethan grinned, as Flaming sent another fireball right past Ryan's shoulder.
" Flaming said you should stop dodging", I said to Ryan.
"Or maybe you just have bad aim," Ryan teased, sticking out his tongue.
Flaming sent another fireball right past Ryan's shoulder with a growl .
Meanwhile, Blake lunged forward, aiming a punch at Bassam, who deflected it with a grin. "Not bad, Blake, but you're still too slow!"
Blake grunted, wiping sweat from his forehead, "it's not bad to be slow ".
Bassam raised an eyebrow, feigning surprise. "Oh, I'm sorry. Was there a competition for who could be the slowest?"
Ryan burst into laughter. "Ouch, Blake! He got you there."
"Alright, alright, I get it. Everyone thinks they're a comedian." Blake rolled his eyes, but he couldn't help grinning. He darted forward again, nearly catching Bassam off guard, but Bassam twisted just in time, slipping out of his reach.
Ethan chuckled, watching his friends' antics as Flaming paced beside him, flames licking off its fur. "Think we should step in before these two start wrestling in the dirt?"
Flaming gave a low growl, and Ethan patted him. "Agreed. Break it up, everyone!"
But just as Ethan called out, Bassam saw an opening and, with a quick move, pinned Blake to the ground, a triumphant grin on his face. "Guess that settles it," he chuckled, not letting Blake up just yet. "I win."
"Fine, fine. But only because I let you," Blake groaned, slumping back in mock defeat.
"Uh-huh, sure," Bassam replied, letting him go. "Next time, try to keep up."
Ryan laughed, clapping Blake on the back. "Guess all that talk didn't save you, did it?"
Blake swatted his hand away, grinning. "You're lucky I was going easy. Next time, I'll show you how it's done."
Ethan shook his head, smirking. "Alright, you two. We've trained enough for today. Let's head back before the forest really does catch fire."
"Oh, I don't know, Ethan," Ryan said, feigning a look of concern. "Do you think the forest can recover from your 'training and Flaming's brutal assault ? I'm not sure those trees will ever look at you guy's the same way."
I rolled my eyes and I nudged Ryan. "Maybe if you trained harder, you wouldn't have to worry about my 'training .'"
Ryan grinned, pretending to dust off his shoulders. "Please, I don't need training. I was born really strong."
Blake snorted. "Strong? Says the guy who nearly tripped over a tree root five minutes ago."
"Hey! That root came out of nowhere!" Ryan protested, laughing as he shoved Blake playfully.
"hmmm, I can see"!! , Blake said as he strokes his chin.
we all burst into laughter, As they began making their way out of the forest, Ethan took one last look at the slightly charred trees, chuckling to himself.
Ryan walked beside him, giving him a nudge. "So, Mr. Ethan, what's next on the agenda? Are we taking over the world or just causing minor mayhem?"
"Maybe both," Ethan replied with a grin. "But first, we're going to go home, get some food, and probably sleep for a week."
"Sounds like a plan," Blake said, stretching his arms. "My muscles are going to hate me For the stress."
Bassam gave him a sidelong glance. "Maybe if you trained more, your muscles wouldn't hate you as much."
Blake narrowed his eyes, a competitive spark flashing in them. "Careful, Bassam. Just because you won today doesn't mean I won't get you next time."
"Oh, I'm counting on it," Bassam replied, giving him a friendly pat on the back. "Keep me entertained, alright?"
By the time we got to my house, the sun had dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the landscape.we knocked and Diana opened the door then I led them inside, and they all crashed onto the living room couches, exhausted but content.
"So," Ryan said, stretching out with a yawn, ". you guys are doing the same thing tomorrow?"
Blake groaned. "I'm not sure I'll be able to move by tomorrow."
Ethan chuckled. "Well, if you need a day off, Blake, I won't judge."
Blake shot him a look. "Oh, I'm showing up. Just… maybe with a few ice packs."
I thought you were claiming to be Hercules, I'm disappointed, Diana said .
we all laughed as it felt like Diana's words melted away the exhaustion.
