Earlier, Joanna left the office on time to meet Violet at the restaurant as planned.
Violet's eyes lit up at the sight of Joanna, as she needed a friend to talk to.
Despite being outgoing, Violet didn't have many close friends, much like Joanna. Their chance encounter in Logan's room turned out to be a blessing as they found solace in each other.
"Joan, I'm so glad you're here," Violet hugged Joanna, her relief evident in her voice.
"Well, you made it sound urgent, so spill it," Joanna replied, Violet led them to a table, ordering drinks and food. The meeting was unplanned, and all the private rooms were already reserved.
Violet usually avoided dining in the open restaurant, but the circumstances required it.
"Last night, I went to the club for a drink and didn't get home until early this morning. Guess who was waiting for me?"
