A few minutes ago, Violet rushed out of her office to another. The middle-aged man was in the middle of a meeting with his secretary, but at the sight of his daughter, the secretary was dismissed.
"Let's discuss this later," his attention focused on his daughter. "What is the problem, V?"
Violet smiled and sat in front of her father. She had no idea about this bid until Joanna mentioned it, so this was her chance to do something in return.
"Do you have a meeting with a representative from Baker's corporation?"
A frown creased her father's face, but that was expected. The middle-aged man never smiled much anyway.
"Yes, that girl Joanna has been very persistent, but I'm just not sure about allowing them to handle our insurance. Their image as a company is falling with all the scandals."
