"Dr. Colton was transferred to another hospital in another state a few hours ago." A bitter smile rested on the nurse's face when she spoke, and Joanna was shaken.
"What? But why? How long has he worked here?"
"Not long, but he's one of the best. This is the hastiest transfer I ever heard, and I'm tempted to agree with the rest that there is someone powerful behind it."
