As the door closed behind the former boss, silence filled the office. Reginald handed the signed documents to William with a respectful bow. "You are now the owner of this agency, Master William."
The receptionist and Daniel stood rooted to their spots, their faces pale with terror.
Reginald turned to them, his voice a low, threatening whisper. "From now on, you answer to Master William. Disrespect him again, and you won't be given another chance."
They nodded quickly, too afraid to speak.
William looked around the office, then at the scarred man and his crew, who were still standing in the corner, awaiting his next command. He saw something in their eyes—a mixture of fear, respect, and loyalty. These were men who had once worked for the underworld, and now they were his.
"You work for me now," William said, addressing the scarred man. "And I don't tolerate failure."
The scarred man nodded, his voice steady. "You won't have to. We'll serve you with everything we've got."
William's gaze lingered on him for a moment, then shifted to the documents in his hand. His first step in building his empire. But this was just the beginning.
