Chapter 17 - Chapter 15: "The Crown Estate"

The drive to the Crown Estate was silent but filled with anticipation. William stared out of the window as the city passed by, feeling a growing sense of control with each passing moment. This wasn't just about acquiring property anymore—it was about cementing his place in a world that had long tried to dismiss him.

As they approached the gates of the Crown Estate, the sheer size and grandeur of the mansion came into view. The sprawling grounds were surrounded by tall, iron gates that seemed to stretch on forever. The mansion itself was a masterpiece of architecture—classic, yet imposing, with towering columns and vast windows that glistened in the sunlight.

Reginald, seated next to William, gave a small nod of approval as the car rolled to a stop in front of the massive gates. "The Crown Estate is everything you could need and more, Master William. A fitting residence for the next stage of your journey."

The gates slowly swung open, and the cars rolled down the long driveway, flanked by perfectly manicured gardens and statues that seemed to watch their every move. The mansion loomed larger as they approached, a testament to the power and wealth that William now commanded.

When the cars finally came to a stop, Reginald stepped out first, opening the door for William. "Welcome to your new home, Master William."

William stepped out, the keys to the estate still clutched in his hand. He stood in silence for a moment, taking in the vastness of the place—the gardens, the marble steps leading up to the grand entrance, the sheer weight of what he now owned.

This was more than just a house. This was his statement to the world.

Reginald gestured toward the entrance. "Shall we enter?"

William nodded, and together they walked up the steps, the bodyguards following at a respectful distance. As they entered the mansion, the opulence of the interior hit them immediately—crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, intricate marble floors stretched across the vast space, and towering windows flooded the rooms with light.

Reginald turned to William. "Everything here is yours now, Master William. The estate staff will be at your service, and any further modifications or preparations you need will be handled immediately."

William glanced around, feeling the weight of the moment. This was his first real foothold in a world that had tried to keep him down. He had taken control of an empire, and now, he had the base from which to grow it.

"Prepare everything," William said quietly. "This is just the beginning."

Reginald nodded. "Of course, Master William. I'll make sure everything is ready for your transition."

As the staff began to work and the house came alive with movement, William took a deep breath. The Crown Estate was now his—but it was just the first piece in a much larger game. One that he intended to win.
