Soldier dated the girl brought him solace,
he knew her heart but never saw her face,
perhaps beauty came from deep down inside,
so plain woman would bloom gorgeous as bride.
Soldier beheld shimmering lake surface,
he stood like chestnut tree on dating place,
perhaps the girl rode on boat sailed with tide,
so heartbeat came with tide waved on shoreside.
The girl dressed in white like water lily,
whose eyes twinkled with hush of galaxy,
whose hair dropped on her chest like waterfall,
whose breath came like plum flower in snowfall.
Soldier stood there like statue on beach shore,
till the girl said, whom else did you wait for.
