Pearl moon drifted through arbor in garden,
like white jade boat sailed on fragrant ocean,
and sprinkled moonlight condensed courtyard's lake,
like fountain sprinkled water moistened drake.
Pale moon napped on cloud bed over heaven,
when cloud condensed gray quilt filled with cotton,
and danced atop night breeze carried snowflake,
when nightingale haunted pearl moon to wake.
The higher pearl moon danced like butterfly,
the colder moonlight breathed out misty sigh,
the rounder full moon emerged as snowball,
the brighter moonlight poured like waterfall.
Full moon sprinkled moonlight with thought of you,
and emerged in heart's lake with lily view.
