Lemon roses sang with lark outside window,
whose song came with frog's croaks under willow,
and sang with rustle wind from fragrant sea,
whose song condensed fragrance from jasmine tea.
Yellow roses dropped like leaves yellowed meadow,
dropped like feathers drifted toward rainbow,
like butterflies fluttered through chestnut tree,
like rain mixed with fragrance lured honeybee.
Rose petal rode on back of wind in dawn,
from shifting willow hair to amber lawn,
and drifted over river and mountain,
from rose garden to fragrant rose ocean.
Golden roses filled garden in full blossom,
each petal swirled with thought of you in dome.
