Fireworks blossomed like rose over town square,
like neon light filled heaven downtown fair,
and died like sparks shimmered for a moment,
like candle light lit table with rose scent.
Light rain of spring came with spring breath at night,
as scarlet rose bathed in water moonlight,
and went with dew sank in black soil of mud,
as chestnut branches stretched out tender new bud.
You stood like lily in central town square,
to watch fireworks blossomed over town fair,
and walked from street to street lined with lantern,
to watch house light twinkled under heaven.
You walked through crowded street with umbrella,
toward garden filled with fragrant flower.
