I stood in wintry wind like ice statue,
I watched dead branches blossomed at full ice dew,
to know if wind freezed dew to pale blossom,
to know if wind freezed cloud to gauze in dome.
To know if wind freezed lake to frozen glass,
to know if wind freezed grass to kneeling grass,
to whom chilled wind passed through with sweet fragrance,
whose fragrance smelled like plum bloom in distance.
I watched flowing cloud gauze hid rising sun,
I watched drifting snowflake hid in mountain,
to know if cloud hid message from dear you,
to know if snowflake turned to crystal dew.
To whom you stretched out hands and dressed in coat,
whose coat warmed like sunshine, like hair of goat.
