I came as gently as snowflake from dome,
falling at chestnut branch in full blossom,
and went as lightly as north breeze to south,
drifting through chestnut tree with song from mouth.
I saw dead tree blossomed like reef in sea,
whose branches lost leaves but found snowflake filled tree,
to whom dead tree blossomed like spring flower,
and stood in drifting snow whitened winter.
I turned to snowflake in wind storm on snow,
drifting over evergreen and willow,
and melted in sunshine into water,
flowing like crooning stream into river.
How cold to be drifting like pale snowflake,
how warm to be hugging like in warm lake.
