City of light like stars on starry street,
lit through bright bridge like rainbow underfeet,
through roofs with red light as flame overhead,
toward night sky with blush and neon thread.
Ballroom like paradise full of starlight,
watched that partners danced with blues through midnight,
that couple huged in each other's embrace,
that lovers kissed for each other's solace.
Night grove of pine circled by dark curtain,
frightened me for stone path reached uncertain,
for pine's branches looked like ghost's claws in mountain,
for chilled breeze chilled like ghost's breath through fountain.
Yet whether day or night, pines lined as line,
there hid couple embraced as branches in pine.
