Bent moon alone in air, like boat on sea,
sailed in breeze with phoenix tree aroma,
sleeping with song of frogs on bed of cloud,
above the earth with neon light filled ground.
Bright neon light hung buildings like starlight,
shining through park green frogs chanted good night,
through phoenix trees fragrance spread over miles,
through clouds pale moon fell in sweet dream with smiles.
If moon decreased with thoughts of missing stars,
and neon light lit stream of rolling cars,
there ought to be the flame warmed through chilled night,
waiting to raise like sun raised at daylight.
What if the stars just became neon light,
shining through streets through thoughts drowned in moonlight.
