Exercise 1: Object Reading for Retrocognition
Objects often absorb the emotional and energetic residue of the people and events they've been connected to. This exercise will help you tune into an object's past and receive impressions of the events it has witnessed.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Select a Meaningful Object: Choose an old or historically significant object—something that has been passed down through generations or carries a known history. This could be an antique, a family heirloom, or even an old photograph.
Create a Quiet Space: Sit in a comfortable, quiet room where you won't be disturbed. Hold the object gently in your hands, feeling its weight and texture.
Close Your Eyes and Breathe: Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, relaxing your body and quieting your mind. Focus on connecting to the object's energy.
Ask for Past Impressions: Mentally ask the object to show you memories or emotions connected to its past. Open your mind to any images, emotions, or sensations that arise. You may see flashes of people, places, or events in your mind's eye, or you may feel specific emotions tied to the object.
Trust the Impressions: Don't force the process—allow the memories to come naturally. Trust whatever impressions you receive, even if they seem vague or symbolic at first.
Record Your Experience: Afterward, write down the impressions or images you received. If possible, verify the history of the object to see if your perceptions align with its known past.
