The Path of the Living. The Path of the Dead. The Path of the Gods.
These three roads lead to the summit of Mount Othry. To truly ascend, one must pass the trials of each path—tests fraught with peril. Even a moment's hesitation can spell doom, even for a god-king.
In the Titan Temple, Cronus opened his eyes and spoke softly. "Rhea, they have come."
Rhea, bowing respectfully, replied, "Your Majesty, they have arrived."
"Everyone has died in battle," Cronus continued.
"Yes," Rhea affirmed, her voice barely above a whisper.
Looking at her, Cronus said calmly, "Rhea, this is not your fault. Your choices are controlled by fate. No one can resist its power, not you nor I. Do not be troubled; rest and await the end."
"Yes, my King," she replied, bowing her head. This was the second time he had comforted her, but Rhea couldn't shake the guilt she felt for their plight.
"Rhea…" Cronus whispered, closing his eyes again. He would wait for the arrival of his heirs. If they fell at this final hurdle, it would signify their weakness.
As Hades ascended, he viewed the tests ahead with unwavering resolve. As the King of the Underworld, he would not fail in his duties. The passage of time saw the countless souls around him dissipate, realizing their pleas for life were in vain. The test of the living was concluded; it had become futile.
Suddenly, Hades halted, sensing a powerful presence. A terrifying aura emerged, rivaling that of a god-king—a real god-king had arrived, one of Cronus's own.
As divine power coalesced, a colossal figure materialized, dwarfing the very mountains. It shrank rapidly until revealing a tall, elegant man clad in a simple combat uniform, his calm demeanor contrasting the immense power he wielded. This was the Beast of Amber.
"Lord Hades!" the Beast bowed slightly, addressing Hades with respect. Though powerful, he knew his place as a servant of Cronus.
"What you have done threatens His Majesty, and he wishes for you to remain here… forever."
With those words, a host of figures appeared behind the Beast, revealing the Titan fighters of Cronus. For ages, these warriors had remained in reserve, now ready to challenge the heirs of the Titan king.
"Behold the Kiggs clan!" the Beast announced, as 9,999 Titan fighters, led by the Beast himself and two others—Black Thunder and White Wind—took their positions. Each Titan warrior was formidable, some even rivaling the power of a god.
The Kiggs clan, loyal to Cronus, had long been under his protection. Among them, the Nine Warriors, especially the Three Giant Soldiers, commanded immense respect and power.
As the Beast of Amber fixed his gaze on Hades, Black Thunder and White Wind prepared to face Poseidon. Meanwhile, Zeus confronted figures led by the Grey Blade and Ruby Iron.
The three giant soldiers and their legion of Titan fighters surrounded the three god kings, setting the stage for the true final war. This was just the beginning.
