Chapter 113 - Complete Ultimate Power Seed! How To Use This Thing?

The pink flame, representing the ultimate power of the three goddesses, burned in the palm of Hades. In the next moment, Hades injected the flame of god-killing into it, releasing bursts of fire instantly.

The sound of sizzling was like pouring cold water into hot oil, causing it to boil immediately.

Hades quietly awaited the burning of the ultimate power by the god-killing flames. Even for him, a sense of excitement rose from the depths of his heart. After so many years, he was finally about to complete the ultimate power he sought.

Defeating Koios had granted him one-tenth of the ultimate power seeds. A deal with Poseidon had provided another one-tenth. Defeating Hyperion had yielded half of the ultimate power seeds. Now, Hades held seven-tenths of the seeds.

Normally, with this amount, if he integrated his own laws into it, he could begin cultivating his ultimate power. However, Hades pursued perfection. If he was going to do it, he would do it right.

Only by perfectly integrating the seeds of ultimate power could he create his own unique form of it. As Erebus and Nyx had warned him, the ultimate power possessed by each god was entirely different; it did not stem from simple comprehension.

Like the small universe of the seventh sense, understanding life and death allows one to reach the eighth sense. In the eighth sense, realizing nothingness leads to the ninth sense. Understanding the power of friendship helps one grasp the will of the gods, ultimately becoming a god.

These all required gradual understanding and growth, but ultimate power was different. It was like a treasure or the World Tree, a blank seed that would take root and germinate upon injecting one's own laws.

Now, Hades was ready to have his own perfect blank ultimate power seed.

Soon, the three clusters of ultimate power were completely incinerated, replaced by three fragments of ultimate power seeds exuding ethereal light. The fragments gradually fused, and Hades held them in one hand. The seeds of ultimate power emerged, slowly merging into a perfect seed.

As dazzling light flashed, a perfect ethereal crystal, resembling a rhombic crystal, floated before Hades. Though devoid of any discernible law or divine power, it radiated vast, bright, and endless light.

"Divine..."

Hades whispered softly, "This is the complete seed of ultimate power. Just looking at it feels as if my soul is being drawn into it."

"But..."

Staring at the complete seed of ultimate power, Hades pondered how to utilize it. Should he directly inject his own law, or was there another method?

Honestly, he had never seen anything like this before. Since the creation of the world by Chaos, only eight Primordial gods and Cronus, the Titan king, had possessed ultimate power. Others, even the Twelve Lord Gods of the Titans, merely borrowed Cronus's ultimate power.

In simpler terms, this was precious food. While everyone knew of it, only a few had truly experienced it, while the rest merely tasted the broth. If asked to explain, they would be at a loss.

Hades fell into silence. After a while, he stood up and decided to leave the Underworld. Since he didn't understand, he should consult someone knowledgeable. He was wary of experimenting, as he didn't know the true value of the ultimate power seed, he couldn't risk a catastrophe.

Upon returning from the Underworld, Hades gradually opened a passage with his divine power. As the passage slowly opened, he stepped into it.

Thus, he returned to silence once more.

In the endless darkness, Hades visited for the fourth time, and this was the only time he came here voluntarily.

"Erebus. Nyx."

In the hermitage of these two Primordial gods, Nyx, the goddess of night, greeted him warmly, her demeanor devoid of coldness. "Hades, your progress is remarkable. Soon, you may reach that pivotal point, and then you will understand everything."

Hades replied calmly, "I'm not in a hurry. Without the necessary strength, knowing more can lead only to danger. I learned that in the Chaos Sea."

The Chaos Sea!

Hades had nearly perished there twice. While he gained tremendous insight, he understood that lacking sufficient strength, knowing too much could be detrimental.

"Hehehe"

Nyx smiled, saying, "Hades, it's best that you recognize this. But what brings you here this time?"

Nyx's gentle manner toward Hades was like that of a caring elder, a strange feeling that made him wonder about its significance.

Yet, Hades refrained from asking further questions. When the time was right, he would understand. Knowing too much prematurely could come at a cost, and he was keenly aware of that.

Erebus approached, his tone soft but filled with concern. "Hades, I've seen all that transpired in your realm, the arrival of Satan and the alliance of the three goddesses. These are serious threats; indeed, this is our oversight, allowing other Primordial gods to engage in this Titan battle."

Erebus moved closer, looking dissatisfied, a chill radiating from him.

The two Primordial gods had been silently guarding Hades, but this time, they were not vigilant enough, a fundamental issue that caused Erebus's anger.

It was akin to watching one's own child lose a fight; if a peer were to intervene, it felt like admitting failure. The situation was frustrating for a being of Erebus's stature.
