Chapter 114 - Origin Of Chaos, Sequence Of God, Will Of The Great Universe

Theia, Faber, and Tethys sought out Gaia, hoping she would permit Satan to enter this world. Gaia was well aware of the implications. Primordial gods had their own agreements, and many matters couldn't be handled directly.

If Gaia were to oppose Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus, she could simply eliminate them, allowing her son to ascend to the throne of the god king. However, Gaia refused to allow such behavior. Like an investor, she backed the new generation of god kings. The reasons behind her choices remained unknown, but it was clear that Gaia had invested in Cronus, while Erebus and Nyx had invested in Hades.

The two gods were quite irritated by the situation. Erebus confronted Gaia, nearly leading to a fight, but ultimately Gaia offered many treasures to resolve the conflict.

Fortunately, this meant Hades had not perished. If he had died, the situation would have been dire. Nyx, on the other hand, was blocked by a Primordial god and could not intervene during Hades's crisis.

It seemed that Gaia had thoroughly considered the consequences and had almost concluded that Hades would die in the Underworld. Yet, the final outcome was that Satan left, and the three Titan goddesses perished.

Both Erebus and Nyx provided Hades with a space object as compensation. Erebus stated, "Hades, this is your compensation. It was indeed a mistake to allow Primordial gods like Satan to participate in the Titan battle. However, it's best to let this matter rest; excessive inquiries won't benefit you."

Hades accepted the compensation with indifference, choosing not to ask questions. To him, he was merely a pawn. He recognized the intricate considerations and connections among the Primordial gods, but understanding their motives was not his concern.

Hades was never an impatient individual; he was pragmatic. The key was to steadily enhance his strength. True progress could only come through personal growth.

"But..." Nyx interjected, "what brings you here?"

Originally, Erebus and Nyx intended to present the compensation to their son, so Hades's unexpected visit was puzzling.

Hades raised the bright light illuminating the darkness, revealing the complete seeds of ultimate power. The sight left the two Primordial gods in stunned silence.

"The complete seed of ultimate power?"

"How is this possible?"

Nyx was filled with shock, her eyes wide in disbelief. "This is impossible! There should only be nine complete seeds of ultimate power. Only an absolute god can create one; it should be impossible for anyone else!"

Listening to Nyx's murmurs, Hades kept the information to himself, not dwelling too much on it.

"Alright!" Erebus interrupted, speaking seriously. "Hades, regardless of how you obtained the complete ultimate power seed, this step is crucial for you. It's vital to integrate your own laws into the ultimate power."

Hades fell silent, wondering if it was truly that simple.

"Hehehe"

Nyx chuckled, noting Hades's restrained emotions. "While your focus on ultimate power is commendable, since you possess the seed, let's discuss it further. The power held by Primordial gods is referred to as ultimate power, which is divided into the will of the gods."

"And!" Nyx continued, "The power of the gods is not limited to that. The absolute god wields the origin of chaos, and the seeds born from this origin are considered ultimate power. Beyond that..."

"Well!" Erebus sighed slightly. "Hades, let me explain. Since you have the ultimate power, this is enough to know."

"The power of gods is categorized into three tiers: Universe god, Absolute god, and Primordial god. The gods within these categories vary according to different mythological worlds. The unique powers held by Universe gods are largely unknown..."

"The absolute god possesses the origin of chaos, while the primordial god holds the ultimate power, which is the seed born from this origin. In this mythical world, only nine seeds exist."

In other words, if later gods wish to comprehend ultimate power, they must either seek out the fragments that were once created, of which the quantity is uncertain, or slay ancient Primordial gods to acquire their ultimate power.

"These are the only two methods. To put it simply, ultimate power requires you to inject your own laws into it and, over time, cultivate it until it matures into the origin of chaos; this is the power of the gods."

"The second category encompasses the power held by outer gods, old gods, and ancient rulers, known as the sequence of gods. Each entity holding a Sequence of God is comparable to an absolute god, and only 22 such sequences exist, which means there are only 22 Evil Gods!"

"Collectively referred to as Evil Gods, the sequence of gods continues to spread, representing the power of nothingness, the tenth sense, and the ninth sense. The emergence of such powers may seem peculiar."

"Indeed."

"This power is inherent to Evil Gods, ultimately reflecting the will of the greater universe. The greater universe, the scales, and the prototype constitute the so-called Omega. This is a unique path for humanity."

Listening quietly to Erebus's explanation, Hades gained clarity. Essentially, these were the three paths taken by gods, Evil Gods, and humans. The routes were predetermined, but humans were the most unique and adaptable beings.

Humans could choose entirely different paths: some might comprehend the ninth sense and become Evil Gods, others might grasp Omega and the will of the universe, while some could understand the will of the gods and ascend as new gods.

In conclusion, these three paths were distinct, yet they all aimed toward the same goal. For Hades, the road ahead led to the origin of chaos, the divine path that also represented his own journey.
