"Eternal sleep!"
"Endless death!"
Hypnos and Thanatos, the twin gods, made a sudden move. The terrifying laws of sleep and death swept over all the gods, taking their lives and everything from them.
Thanatos snorted disdainfully and said proudly, "It's just a group of weaklings; they're really not worth mentioning."
Hypnos replied indifferently, "Thanatos, don't be too arrogant. Let's focus on completing Lord Hades' task."
"Good!"
With that, Thanatos regained his composure, and the twin gods left to continue their own war. As they joined the battle, other gods of the Underworld, led by Aether and Hemera, also entered the fray, advancing steadily.
This was to be expected.
The twin gods and also Aether and Hemera were at the level of Titan Main Gods. While there were dangers on the battlefield, they were manageable.
However, the other Underworld gods faced a different situation. If something went wrong, it could be disastrous, and thus required serious consideration.
"Aether, are you planning to train these younger siblings?"
"Yes! They need to go through the flames of war to grow; otherwise, they'll never truly mature."
When Hemera asked, Aether nodded seriously. Gods could only grow through battle; simple penance might have its value, but compared to the growth from war, it was significantly less effective.
"Um!"
Hemera agreed. For her younger siblings, serious training and growth were essential. Improvement through isolation might not be the greatest path.
At the same time...
"Hee hee hee"
Charon, wielding his paddle, looked around with interest and casually remarked, "This is the main battlefield; let's make the name of the Underworld known here!"
"Come on!"
"Magic star!"
As Charon raised his oar, a bright light shone instantly. Accompanied by strange laughter, magic stars emerged one after another. As time passed, these demon stars dissipated, selecting suitable Underworld fighters, who began to materialize.
One by one, figures appeared, each exuding a terrifying aura, embodying a small universe. These powerful Underworld fighters were merely the ones chosen randomly by the magic stars, and compared to Charon and his companions, the gap in power was enormous.
Nonetheless, it didn't matter. As the leader, Charon flicked his oar and commanded, "Everyone, attack!"
"Yes!"
In contrast to the divine war occurring in the heavens and seas, the land realm experienced a melee of fighters from various gods. The Underworld fighters led by Charon joined this vast battlefield, making their presence felt.
"Turning paddle!"
"Blood flower knife scissors!"
"Coronal blast!"
"Big waves!"
"Messenger of Death!"
"Gaze at the price!"
The six Underworld fighters launched their attacks, overwhelming everything around them. Under Charon's command, a formidable Underworld army that feared no death emerged, producing terrifying results.
As the battle escalated, the terrain began to collapse. Though outnumbered, the Underworld fighters were a relentless force, unafraid of death.
Hades.
Underworld fighters.
Their participation signaled to all gods that Hades was back. After 50,000 years of absence, he had returned, and no one knew what he had achieved during that time.
"Die!"
Poseidon, dressed in a blue divine robe and wielding the Sea King's Trident, stood on the ocean's vortex, raising his trident high. A brilliant light burst forth, summoning monstrous waves that engulfed countless Titan gods belonging to Cronus.
"Kill! Kill!"
Following that, more gods surged forth, seemingly endless. The 3,000 sea gods and river gods under Poseidon fought valiantly, embodying the will of their god.
A friendly-looking man approached Poseidon and said softly, "Master Poseidon, two gods from the Underworld, Hypnos and Thanatos, have appeared in the sea realm."
"Um."
Poseidon nodded lightly and replied, "I understand. You handle the situation in the sea. I have other matters to attend to."
"Yes!"
Nereus, the friendly sea god, bowed respectfully.
Nereus, Taumas, Phorcys, Ceto, and Eurybia, the five most powerful gods under Poseidon, had gradually regained their former strength. However, Eurybia chose not to participate in the battle, unwilling to confront her husband, Crius, one of the twelve main Titan gods. Poseidon allowed her to remain in Atlantis.
"The true war of the Titans is about to begin," Nereus whispered. "With Hades' return, the three god-kings have united, and the real conflict is imminent."
"Thunder!"
"Destroy the enemy before you!"
Zeus, raising his thunderbolt, unleashed immense power, decimating all enemies in his path. The gods fell one after another, only to be replaced by an even larger wave of combatants. Zeus's followers were not necessarily outstanding; many were ambitious figures with their own agendas.
But for Zeus, he welcomed them all. This war needed such individuals; it couldn't simply end here.
"Master Zeus!"
Prometheus approached Zeus respectfully and said, "Underworld warriors have appeared in the earth realm, and many Underworld gods are joining the battle in the heaven realm."
"Um?!"
"I see!"
Zeus hesitated briefly before saying, "Prometheus, handle the battlefield. I need to return to Olympus."
"Yes!"
Prometheus bowed slightly, and as Zeus departed, he echoed Nereus' thoughts, saying, "This battle of the Titans is about to commence. With Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus, the three god-kings united, victory is within reach. As long as we eliminate the twelve Titan Lords, we can finally confront the invincible Titan God-King!"
Prometheus had many thoughts, but he understood that while the method seemed simple, following through would be immensely challenging.
