Chereads / I! Pluto Hades / Chapter 86 - Thirty Thousand Years, Gathering, Each Conceived A Ghost

Chapter 86 - Thirty Thousand Years, Gathering, Each Conceived A Ghost

Time flies.

Everything flows.

Hades slowly opened his eyes, as if the endless darkness was about to swallow vast lives. He stood up gradually and whispered softly, "The time of 30,000 years has come; it's time to start."

"Titan battle."

"Father..."

"Mother God..."

"Everything..."

"It's about to begin after all."

Hades stepped out, leaving the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, and arrived at the entrance of the Underworld, Yellow Spring Biliangzaka.

"Arf!"

Cerberus made a cute sound and ran over quickly. After such a long time, it seemed to have grown little, still resembling a cute puppy, rubbing against Hades' gown, looking adorable.

"Lord Hades!"

"Lord Hades!"

The twin gods Hypnos and Thanatos knelt respectfully on one knee.

They had prepared everything, and in front of them was a luxurious chariot pulled by six black-painted horses, roaring with power.

Their eyes emitted dark purple flames as they trod upon dark purple flames.

These six divine steeds of first-class god level.

Over the years, the twin gods had captured these death horses themselves; all were first-class horse gods. Additionally, they had expended many rare treasures to construct this chariot for Hades. It resembled a carriage but was open-topped, unlike a typical carriage.

This occasion represented the beginning of the Titan battle, and every detail mattered; there could be no shame.

Hades didn't care much for such postures and etiquette, but the twin gods, as Hades's right and left hands, needed to consider these details. It was very important: Posture! Etiquette! Identity! All these needed to be displayed.

After all, with the real battle of the Titans approaching, it would be shameful not to prepare adequately.

"Master Hades!"

"Um."

Nodding indifferently, Hades boarded the chariot and sat slowly on the throne at the back. The Twin Gods drove the chariot, soaring into the sky.

"Arf!"

Cerberus was eager, ready to jump up in excitement. Thanatos frowned slightly, as if he wanted to reprimand him.

Hades said indifferently, "It doesn't matter."

As he spoke, Hades casually picked up Cerberus, placing it in his arms and gently stroking its soft black fur. Cerberus lay down obediently.

Seeing this scene, the twin gods fell silent and drove the chariot higher, leaving Yellow Spring Biliangzaka, exiting the Underworld, and heading straight to the heart of the ocean in the Sea Realm.

With the power of the Pluto Helmet, it was impossible for any gods to find Hades.

Not to mention!

Hades had broken through to the God King level. Tracking Hades would be no easy task for ordinary gods. Soon, the heart of the ocean appeared before them.

At the same time in the sky, a similar chariot drawn by thunder horses galloped towards them, and sitting upright on this chariot was Zeus. The moment Hades and his entourage spotted Zeus, Zeus also recognized Hades.

At the sight of Hades, Zeus's eyes narrowed. Beside him stood a god with long black hair and a handsome visage, his eyes filled with wisdom. He spoke softly, "Lord Zeus, what's the matter?"

"Hades has broken through."

Zeus's gaze was sharp, though it was fleeting. His voice was soft, laced with reluctance but mostly dignified.

Clearly after experiencing failure at the end of the sky, Zeus had undergone many changes. This was the result Metis desired. She hoped her husband could recover; now was not the time for indulgence but for ambition. Metis emphasized this point.

In fact, Metis constantly thought about how to strengthen Hades and Poseidon.

Only with strong opponents could Zeus continue to grow instead of seeking pleasure.

This was why, among the three generations of God Kings, Zeus became the weakest after overthrowing his father.

Compared to Uranus's natural primordial power and Cronus's perverse talent, after Zeus deposed his father, he felt no tension whatsoever. Hades and Poseidon were not threats in various ways.

Naturally Zeus had initially sought pleasure, leading to predictable results! After being defeated by Typhon, he calmed down, but only briefly. Eventually, he relaxed his diligence as there seemed to be no threat, allowing time to pass without further effort.

Metis would not allow this. She insisted that if things continued this way, progress would stall. So, she had always been cultivating Zeus. To put it plainly, it was not just Zeus who needed to win the battle of the Titans; it was Metis who aimed for victory in the realm of the gods.

Now, upon hearing of Hades' breakthrough, Metis felt both vigilant and satisfied. Such an opponent meant even Zeus couldn't afford to be complacent.

The god standing beside Zeus pondered for a moment, a slight smile on his lips. He said softly, "Master Zeus, don't be so tense; the God King is not much of a threat to you. It's something to note, but you need not be eager or anxious; instead, it's a positive development."

"A positive development?!"

Zeus frowned slightly, contemplating this statement.

The god smiled and explained, "Of course, the Titan War is about to commence, and the strongest being, Hyperion, will need someone to contend with him. Since Hades has now broken through to the God King, he'll be that contender."

In this upcoming Titan War, to gain significant benefits, one need not be the strongest. After all, being the first bird is rarely advantageous.

His smile was confident; this wise god understood the simple truth of being the first to act. Zeus hesitated, considering this perspective, and then turned to Metis.

At this point, Zeus placed absolute trust in his wife. Metis nodded, reassuring him, and Zeus felt relieved.

Though the Titan War had not even begun, all involved were already plotting, each with their own schemes.
