Chapter 26 - Rhea's Perfect Battle Wheel

"Hades, it's been a real pleasure talking to you; this is my first taste of what it's like to be a mother."

"Mother God, communicating with you has shown me that you still have love for your children, but it is weaker than your love for Father God."

"The only thing I love most is your Father God, and you're the biggest obstacle to His Majesty."

"Mother God, I am also very comfortable talking with you."

"Hades, me too."

Though the conversation between Hades and Rhea lasted only a little over ten minutes, it was a meaningful exchange. During this brief time, Rhea felt at ease, appreciating that her children truly respected her.

Similarly, Hades realized that his mother did love her children, but when it came to the choice between love and family, she chose love for her husband. As a child, he understood the need to respect her decision.

Some things, once acknowledged, didn't require further questioning.

So…

Rhea raised her hand, and vast divine power surged forth, wrapping around the surrounding monsters. They shifted once more, encircling Hades, seemingly prepared to devour him.

Regarding this development, Hades remained calm. "Mother God, you must realize that if you were at your peak, I would have left directly. But now, you've expended significant power to reverse time and track my trace. You need time to recover; you are not my opponent now. Relying on these monsters alone won't suffice."

Hades was indeed calm.

If one were to classify divine beings, they could be divided roughly into third-rate gods, second-rate gods, first-rate gods, main gods, Titan main gods, and god kings. Such distinctions weren't overly complicated.

Not to mention, in this world, it wasn't unusual to witness gods being defeated through sheer explosive force. Wasn't that the specialty of a certain star demon king?

Rhea's strength rested firmly at the level of the Titan main god, while Hades had only just ascended to the realm of the main god. With the blessing of the magic star, he had reached that level, yet the gap between him and his mother was still substantial.

However, in her quest to find Hades, Rhea had reversed time for the entire world. The divine power consumed in this process was immense, slightly harming her essence. While she wouldn't face any significant issues, recovery would take time.

As Hades noted, relying on the monsters alone wouldn't enable Rhea to overcome him.

"Hades, let me demonstrate. As the Goddess of Time, I possess divine power. As a mother, I will impart a truth; never underestimate any god."

With a smile, Rhea gradually faded away, leaving behind the chaotic assaults of the monsters.

With a flick of his finger, Hades unleashed the flames of the underworld, engulfing the monsters instantly, leaving no remnants behind. Yet, even so, the surrounding time distorted, and they resurrected once again.

Moreover, the strength of the revived monsters increased by threefold. This sight made Hades pause, but he didn't falter.

Again and again.

This pattern seemed to repeat endlessly. With each defeat, the resurrected monsters grew increasingly formidable, evolving from their initial weakness to becoming comparable to Titan gods. Their strength appeared limitless.

As the goddess of time, Rhea excelled at fusing her temporal powers with summoning, creating an almost perfect battle cycle. Very few could match her in this regard.

After all, Hades was still a new god.

He reflected silently, "Summoning using the summoning technique, combined with time manipulation, repeatedly enhancing strength; this is like a perfect battle wheel. If not managed carefully, it could become extremely troublesome."

In essence, whenever Hades merely defeated the monsters instead of annihilating them, Rhea could summon new ones from the deceased creatures to reinforce the battlefield with even greater strength.

Monsters, beasts, mythical creatures; collectively known as monsters, regardless of their existence in the past, present, or alternate dimensions. As long as Rhea's summoning techniques fused with the laws of time, they could be called forth.

Most importantly, the summoned monsters were increasingly powerful.

As time passed, Hades' flames of the underworld struggled to consume them completely, and his divine power was also rapidly depleting.

But there was one silver lining!

The sheer number of monsters was overwhelming. Rhea's summoned beasts were entirely real, drawn from various times and dimensions.

In this scenario, it naturally stirred the resonance of the magic star, allowing Hades to identify the most suitable monster and eventually forge it into an Underworld garment.

This seemed to be the only advantage in such a desperate situation.
