Chereads / I! Pluto Hades / Chapter 31 - Killing, Sealing, Sealing Of The Demon Star

Chapter 31 - Killing, Sealing, Sealing Of The Demon Star

Moonlight and dawn.

Two rays of light descended from the sky, bringing with them divine power and law.

A moment's carelessness felt like being pierced by a thousand arrows.

As the rays from the two women fell, Hades raised his hand, summoning the flames of the underworld. The burning flames devoured both moonlight and dawn.

The two sisters, Selene and Eos, were displeased but found themselves powerless. They were merely main gods; Helios had once been the strongest among the three siblings, and purely in terms of strength, they were no match for Hades.

And this was not the Hades of the past, but the Hades of the present.

It was meaningless for the two sisters to join forces.

The only real threat was Perses.

The law he commanded was destruction, much like a relentless predator. Not only was his strength formidable, but the nature of his destructive powers made him particularly difficult to confront.

"Die."

"Destroy."

The laws of Hades and Perses collided. After a brief stalemate, Hades' law of death was swiftly annihilated, and the dark purple light descended upon him. With a flicker of divine thought, the terrifying darkness began to envelop the dark purple glow.

Death!

Darkness!

The two laws barely managed to offset Perses's law of destruction, highlighting his strength. As a second-generation Titan God, he was indeed comparable to the Main God Titan, showcasing just how powerful he was.

"Magic star."

Hades summoned a hundred and eight magic stars, and dark purple skulls wrapped around him, making a strange 'click click' sound. Simultaneously, dark purple beams of light shot from the ground, cascading down from the sky and completely enveloping Perses.

"Hades!"

"Die!"

Selene, wielding a holy sword made of moonlight, launched an attack from behind.

But Hades evaded Selene's sword with a motion that seemed effortless. In the same fluid motion, his palm landed on Selene's forehead as he said calmly, "Goodbye."

"Die."

The pure law of death penetrated Selene instantly. Even as a Titan God, she could not withstand such a blow and was quickly corroded by death.

Moonlight Goddess Selene, perished!

"Sister Selene!!!"

Eos let out a desperate scream. The death of her elder sister, right before her eyes, pushed the youngest sister, Eos, to the brink of collapse. She was powerless to seek revenge, as the vast flames of the underworld were already approaching her.

Eos manipulated the rays of dawn to barely block the monstrous flames of the underworld, hoping desperately that Perses would eliminate Hades as soon as possible.

However, when Eos glanced back, she was stunned in disbelief. Dark purple chains had bound Perses, sealing him like a serpent.

Honestly, dealing with a god of destruction like Perses was exceptionally challenging; approaching him carelessly could be perilous. In such circumstances, Hades could only seal Perses.

At the very least, if the current Hades touched Perses without caution, he would not survive the law of destruction.

"Destroy!!!"

Perses roared like a wild beast. The magic star chains that sealed him began to fray, but immediately afterward, an even greater number of chains surged forth, restraining him once more.

"Walk your mind; what you lose is your life."

"What?"

Eos suddenly heard Hades' voice beside her. When she regained her senses, her eyes widened in horror. She had no idea when Hades had come to her side.

"Die."

Just like her sister, Eos felt Hades' palm gently press against her forehead.

"Ah!"

The flames of the underworld consumed Eos, and thus, the three sisters Sun, Moon, and Dawn; met their end at Hades' hands.

Predictably, Hyperion and Theia, two of the twelve Titan gods, were entirely obliterated.

Offending Hades meant there was no hope for reconciliation.

But Hades simply didn't care. The Titan Gods and the New Gods were fighting to the death, and reconciliation between the two factions was no longer possible.

"Roar!"

Perses let out a beast-like roar, his body radiating dark purple light, the pure law of destruction had condensed into substance around him.

Yet, no matter how fiercely he roared or how madly he fought, he could not break free from the chains of the magic star. Instead, his efforts only made the chains grow tighter.

Hades opened one hand, slowly clenched it, and said lightly, "The seal of the magic star."

Law!

Technique!

Law is the purest form of authority. Under such a law, one force can overwhelm ten; no skill is needed, pure physical confrontation suffices.

Skills, on the other hand, allow a small force to exert significant effects. A little power can yield a hundred points of attack power. This is a skill, and Hades had created the only technique combined with the magic star.

The seal of the magic star.

A simple name, but one with tangible effects.

Combined with the terrifying power of the magic star and the suppressive force it generated, an endless chain of seals was formed.

As long as the strength difference wasn't completely insurmountable, gradual sealing was almost guaranteed.

In simple terms, it was a competition of endurance.

Slowly, Hades would emerge victorious.
