Returning to the ground, Hades' expression remained grim. If he could avoid encountering these Outer Gods, it was best to do so, as their impact on him was immense; especially regarding spiritual pollution.
Hades dismissed the thought, but it would take him hundreds of years to clear this mental pollution, leaving him in a weakened state requiring time to recover.
"Outer God."
"It truly is the biggest trouble."
Hades whispered softly, reflecting on the situation.
However, now that he had encountered it, there was no need to dwell further. Hades continued onward, secretly contemplating: "It's time to pursue ultimate power."
From the moment of its inception, Hades possessed the will of the gods, though he was not particularly fond of it. After all, the will of the gods was merely a diluted form of ultimate power. What Hades truly desired was the ultimate power itself. Where it could be obtained remained uncertain, but he could only explore that in the underworld.
After all, acquiring ultimate power is an exceedingly troublesome endeavor. Even among the Twelve Titans, aside from Cronus, the Titan King, no one else could wield ultimate power casually. Only when Cronus ignited the divine fire could the other Titan gods access it.
This suggests that the only gods with ultimate power were the Primordial ones and Cronus himself; nine gods in total.
It wouldn't be easy for Hades to acquire ultimate power.
"In memory..."
"Zeus disappeared from myth, presumably in pursuit of ultimate power."
"Otherwise, he would have no reason to abandon everything."
After the age of mythology, Zeus relinquished the title of God King to Poseidon and departed with his thunder and divine garments. Where he went, no one knew.
Thus, Hades rationally speculated that perhaps Zeus sought the ultimate power and greater possibilities.
Gods, upon reaching a certain level, inevitably encounter an upper limit. The will of the gods cultivated to this stage becomes insufficient for further advancement; one must break through that limit. Just as a saint progresses through the sixth, seventh, and eighth senses, gods must also cultivate to a particular level while holding the will of the gods.
Ultimate power is needed for further advancement. Alternatively, there exists another path—the path of the vast universe, the power of Ω! Mastering this power may allow one to transcend to the Primordial God level or even achieve something greater.
But herein lies the problem: this power is not meant for gods; it is designed for humans and can only be controlled and mastered by them.
Given these circumstances, for gods to advance further, they must obtain ultimate power;a goal Hades wholeheartedly pursues.
Suddenly, Hades halted, turning his head to ask calmly, "I'm curious, how did you find me?"
Unbeknownst to him, a phantom had appeared behind Hades. This was not a genuine god but a clone of divine consciousness; an intriguing occurrence indeed.
Hades possessed the cloak of invisibility; even Cronus, the Titan King, shouldn't have been able to detect him. Yet, here was this entity.
"Just a little analysis."
"It's quite simple."
The figure was Koios.
With a calm smile, he looked at Hades and continued: "There are only three ways to become stronger. Whether through law or belief, time is too slow for you. The best way to increase divine power quickly is to establish a kingdom of God, and you acquired the magic star in the chaotic starry sky."
"For you, the Chaos Starry Sky is the safest place, just waiting for you here."
"Hades."
Koios's analysis was straightforward, but its simplicity was troubling. This seemingly rudimentary observation was Koios's serious analysis, revealing that he understood Hades' path was indeed aligned with this reasoning.
Hades nodded, replying, "Excellent analysis. You've made no mistakes."
"However," Hades maintained his calm demeanor and added lightly, "as a mere fragment of divine consciousness, it seems you cannot kill me."
Koios shook his head. "I am indeed waiting for you here, but due to an incident, my main body has returned, leaving only my clone."
Hades raised an eyebrow, intrigued. An incident? That piqued his curiosity.
To know that Koios was ordered to kill him but had now retreated suggested something significant.
Hades contemplated the possibility: "Zeus has rescued others. That would certainly provoke Father God into recalling all the Titan Lords."
"Indeed!!!"
Koios exclaimed, "Hades, you're quite perceptive. You deduced it in just a few words! Just as you surmised, Zeus released Poseidon from his seal through a special elixir. His Majesty recalled all the Titan Gods in a rage; even I was summoned back."
"Well then!"
"That's a pity. I found it intriguing to be your opponent. Hades, I look forward to our true battle."
With a hint of a smile, the phantom of Koios vanished without a trace, like a fleeting afternoon shadow.
