The man's smile was sharp. "A favor. When the time comes, we'll call, and you'll answer."
"No deals," Marcus said, his voice cold.
Alexander raised a hand, silencing him. "You'll have your favor. Now talk."
The man's smile widened. "Mira's operation isn't hers. She's working for someone bigger. Someone who doesn't like being seen."
"Who?" I asked, stepping forward.

Alexander's voice cut in, low and dangerous. "Answer her."
