I pressed a kiss to his cheek, but his attention stayed fixed on the screen. The glow of the laptop highlighted the dark circles under his eyes—eyes that hadn't seen enough rest. "The driver who was supposed to deliver the goods yesterday," he said, his voice low and simmering with anger. "Moretti's men intercepted him on the highway. They took everything."
