Another month passed, and Nan Feihuang's seven-member team had become a sensation at the Great Spirit Arena, reminiscent of Shrek's rise in the original storyline.
Their daily routine was intense: theoretical studies in the morning, rigorous spirit power training in the afternoon, real combat practice at the arena by evening, followed by meditation to replace sleep and further enhance their cultivation. They had become relentless machines of growth.
Yu Tianheng and the others had never trained like this before. They were diligent, yes, but not to this extreme.
The reason? Comparison.
With Nan Feihuang, the youngest member, leading the charge with his 007-style training regimen, they had no choice but to follow suit. At just ten years old, he was already on the verge of reaching the 30th level. For the older members of the team, their pride wouldn't allow them to lag behind—yet many already had.
Save for Yu Tianheng and Dugu Yan, everyone else had been overtaken.
Qin Ming and the three education committee members observed all this with immense satisfaction, praising the competitive spirit.
"Good. Let them push themselves," Qin Ming said approvingly. "This is their golden period for cultivation. Too many of today's young nobles waste their prime years idly, oblivious to the regret they'll feel later."
Unfortunately, not all could be inspired. Yu Tianheng and his team were naturally motivated and goal-driven. The rest of the noble students? Not so much. To them, Nan Feihuang's efforts seemed incomprehensible.
"He's already a prince and has a Titled Douluo mother. What's he working so hard for?" they scoffed. "It's not like he won't inherit the throne one day."
Nan Feihuang ignored their jeers, focusing instead on Dugu Yan's condition.
It wasn't love or romantic rivalry—he simply noticed that Dugu Yan's spirit power had surged too quickly in the past month. With constant combat fueling her already volatile energy, the toxins within her body seemed dangerously close to spiraling out of control.
Yet, Dugu Yan herself remained oblivious, using her first and second spirit abilities in every battle as if nothing were amiss.
"It's time to step in," Nan Feihuang thought. "And if my guess is right, that elusive Poison Douluo should be making his appearance soon."

Heaven Dou Great Spirit Arena
The evening's group battle was already in full swing.
"First Spirit Ability—Crescent Slash!"
With one swing of his halberd, Nan Feihuang sent four members of the opposing team flying out of the arena.
The remaining three saw this and promptly surrendered.
"Yes! That makes it 30 consecutive wins! We're now a Gold Spirit team!" Yu Tianheng cheered, his excitement palpable.
He couldn't believe how strong their team had become since Nan Feihuang and Xun Yu joined. Achieving a 30-match winning streak at the Spirit Elder level was virtually unheard of.
There was just one problem: finding opponents.
Most teams in their rank were Silver Spirit teams at best. Gold-level teams were typically composed of Spirit Ancestors or even Spirit Kings.
Still, Qin Ming had a solution.
"Starting a new account, of course," he suggested with a smirk. The cost of registering a new team was only ten gold spirit coins, after all. Besides, with the academy planning to rename their team the Royal Battle Team, it was the perfect opportunity to begin anew under their future title.
---
As the group exited the arena, preparing to return to the academy, Dugu Yan suddenly stumbled, raising a hand to her forehead.
"What's wrong, Yan?" Yu Tianheng asked, concern etched across his face.
"I'm fine," she replied with a weak smile. "Just a little dizzy. I must've overexerted myself recently. I'll rest once we're back."
Though reassured for the moment, Yu Tianheng remained uneasy. He decided to ask Ye Lingling to help Dugu Yan recover once they returned.
But before they could take a few more steps, Dugu Yan's condition worsened. Her steps faltered, her face paled, and she collapsed forward, unconscious.
"Yan!"
"Yan-jie!"
The group immediately surrounded her, panic taking hold. Qin Ming knelt beside her, his expression grave.
"Teacher Qin, how is she?" Yu Tianheng asked, his voice trembling with worry.
Qin Ming shook his head. "I can't tell. Her spirit power seems normal, but something deeper must be wrong. We need to take her to the education committee immediately. Perhaps they'll know how to help."
"Understood!"
Without another word, Yu Tianheng scooped up Dugu Yan and bolted toward the academy with all the speed his spirit power could muster.
---
At the academy, the three education committee members were preparing materials in the administrative office when the door burst open with a loud crash.
It was Yu Tianheng, his face pale with worry as he carried Dugu Yan in his arms.
"Teachers, please help! Yan suddenly collapsed after our spirit battle!"
Dream God Machine, the head of the committee, didn't hesitate. "Lay her down immediately. Old Bai, find the best healing spirit master in the academy. Old Lin, contact the Poison Douluo. We'll need his expertise."
The other two nodded and sprang into action.
Meanwhile, Dream God Machine placed his hands on Dugu Yan's back, channeling his Spirit Douluo-level power to stabilize her toxin-laden spirit energy.
"Don't worry, Tianheng," he said firmly. "I'll do everything I can to save her."
