Chapter 75 - Rhysand's Strange Mood

Butler Jorah nearly forgot that today was a special day.

Every year, the Third Young Master would spend this day alone, with no intention of meeting anyone.

The car drove smoothly. Rhysand turned his gaze toward the window, staring out through the tinted glass, his expression distant.

After a moment, he gave a quiet order to the driver, "Take us to the outskirts."

When Ariel returned home, it was already dark outside.

She pushed open the door with her aching arms and kicked off her heels the moment she stepped in.

She hadn't been to the company in over ten days, and now she had heaps of work to catch up on.

But with Callum gone, even with the heavy workload, she felt a bit of relief.

Ariel wasn't worried about her work but about Jessica.

They had met at a bar earlier and had spoken for a while. Callum had left for Africa, leaving Jessica to care for her paralyzed father alone in Peak City.
