Chapter 65 - Beware Of An Angry Wife

"Don't… don't shock me again, Ariel," Callum stammered, his face twisted in fear. "I… I swear, I can't take another jolt. I might die!"

Ariel's voice was cold, her tone steely and unyielding. "Then tell me, Callum, do you dare to lay a hand on me again? Do you dare to interfere with my relationship with my husband?"

"N-no, Ariel," he choked, voice a mix of fear and shame. "I don't dare. I swear it!"

"Good." With a flick of her wrist, Ariel tossed a document onto his trembling chest, her expression one of utter disdain. "Then sign your name on this guarantee, and I'll let you go."

Seeing the document land on him, Callum paled, his face a picture of indignation and humiliation.

After learning that he had been secretly plotting against Rhysand, Ariel had decided to seek justice for her husband.

She had hidden a stun gun in the bouquet of roses, playing along with Callum's schemes just long enough to get close.
