Chapter 46 - Helping Her While She Sleeps

Her face flushed with embarrassment, and she quickly stood up, searching around the office for another spoon. "I'm sorry! Let me find you a clean spoon."

But Rhysand stopped her with a glance. "It's too late," he said in his usual calm, cold voice. "It's not safe for you to be wandering around the office this late at night."

Ariel bit her lip, feeling even more embarrassed now.

She was sure Rhysand wouldn't want to share a spoon.

He was always so meticulous about cleanliness—he took showers twice a day, and his clothes were never wrinkled or out of place.

Yet, Rhysand quietly took the spoon she had used and continued eating the porridge without a word.

Ariel blinked, staring at him in surprise.

Wasn't he usually so particular about these things? How could he just—just not care?

Her cheeks burned as she thought about it. Sharing a spoon... that was practically an indirect kiss, wasn't it?
