Chapter 26 - The Battle of Dressrosa (Part 5)

Adrian had been working as a slave for the past 10 years. What could have been if that night hadn't happened. His King was Riko Doldo the Third. A man that was always willing to help his people, until that night when that heavenly demon waltzed in through their country, controlling the royal soldiers and the king to commit grievous crimes. Now that he was now free, he looked towards his broken body in this pit of despair. Adrian's hands still felt the sudden tremble, of remembering, remembering that by his hand he had slaughtered his neighbors, and their families. Doflamingo was the manipulator, but it was these hands that had swung the axe down on their lives. Their life met a crimson end admith fire and suffering. And then, his body was used and used to murder and murder so many. Even his wife fell by his own hand, and she was pregnant.

And now that these limbs were made from flesh, instead of plastic and tin, he trembled and cried. Soldiers who were previously broken toys cried out. However, Adrian didn't live an incredibly lucky life as a toy, he crashed into this pit, with a broken and cut leg, that leg was now gone. And with it, he could feel the liquid that sustained him, leaking from the stump. Adrian closed his eyes, in a few minutes he'd die from blood loss, if what he was feeling was right.

Adrian looked at the empty roof, a cold sight. He sighed and trembled even further. Then he picked up a piece of broken metal and aimed it at his own neck.

Adrian couldn't live with the fact he killed so many, and for atonement, he would take his own life before he died due to blood loss.

In the meanwhile, beyond the colosseum floor, on the deep hidden Underground Port.

"Haha, yes! Finally, it's been so many years. Thank you God Usopp!" One of the many pirates trapped in here said as hisd peers were all chanting the name of their savior.

The entourage taking care of him was made up of legendary figures. There was the great Bloody Regicide Annabelle. Her stories of killing countless dictators and rulers have made all the nobles and kings fear her worldwide. She was a terrorist from the Revolutionaries. Their second-in-command, even.

Then, there were two warriors that emanated respect. A tall woman with a samurai garb, and a tall man with a kimono. These two were great samurai from the land of Wano. Their mighty auras made people shiver. And close to them were the fighters from the colosseum. The Hapossui army, Orlumbus, Cavendish, and others.

Ann smiled faintly at all the warriors down here, showing her with their fearful looks.

She passed by many of them and arrived near the long-nosed man, Ann and her crew, Koala and Hack, to destroy the production of weapons from Joker, and dethrone the King, no matter what. A job for the bloody regicide. But this long-nosed man was a crewmate from the Straw hats, Luffy's crew. They were here as a part of an ongoing war between the two groups, news that was parroted all around the new world. You could see the fires in the Straw hats eyes, and things moved faster, and Dressrosa became the center stage of this massive conflict. It was so huge that Koala was able to witness the ship from Big mom, as well as an Admiral's forces arriving on this island. There were reports that many covert agents of CP0 were here as well. Ann had noticed some movement, but they were crafty and lied to remain hidden and profit from when the whole thing blows over.

That's mostly how CP0 operated. They were an agency looking to the bigger picture, very different from CP9, which usually acted with physical force to make things happen.

And yet, it seemed that Luffy was moving separately from the leading group of Straw Hats. Right now, they have Robin, Usopp, and Franky down here.

Robin was a glad sight. She was in the revolutionaries for the duration after rescuing her from Tequila Wolf. She had been with them and learned the state of the world.

"Have you already forgotten some of the Haki theory I teached you?" Ann asked Robin, and the woman flinched.

Haki is challenging to master, and battle geniuses like Luffy and Boa Hancock were the exception to the rule. They picked new Haki techniques very fast. But for people like Robin, Usopp, and Franky, who had just unlocked or were working on it. Robin knew a little from what Ann had reached her, and now she had some profound insights from Luffy. If she tried hard enough, her fingers would turn inky black.

But that required a lot of concentration.

However, if she used this, maybe she could kill that man the next time they met. Her fight against Trebol wasn't over yet.

Wicca was a warrior of the tribe of the Tontattas, a 27-year-old little fairy. She had gotten caught earlier on by a mysterious person. That person was named Monkey D. Luffy, a very tall and muscular man with an aura of a glorious warrior. Not even the biggest fighters from her tribe gave off his aura and his edge when in combat. Wicca was astonished and awed by everything he did and wanted to sleep with him and so she did, she was the first woman of her tribe to bed such a man and she was immensely proud of that fact.

He was very reminiscent of Toy Soldier, though Luffy was rougher around the edges, and much more brutal when it came to enemies. Wicca had a very tall top hat and blue-hair. She was also one of the biggest fighters in her tribe, with the leading warrior being Leo, an excitable warrior who had a relationship with the princess of their land.

"We want to see the downfall of Doflamingo, and if possible, make him fall by our own hands. The devil of this land had captured my comrades, my friends and forced them to slave away in the factory."

Luffy was deeply empathetic of Wicca's situation in her tribe. She needed to save both her people and their princess from captivity. As someone who always fought oppression in any way possible, Luffy was ready to lend a hand this time. All of the Straw hats had their individual missions, and Zoro who was supposed to be in the castle was now fighting the Admiral in a 1v1 deathmatch. The two fighters were very impressive and would not fall. Safe to say their fights were not going anywhere any time soon.

He explained this to Wicca, and he sensed something strange coming from the palace, a weird sort of presence. Baby 5 said it was possible that the Tontattas Princess could be kept in the palace instead of the factory, since she was so important, and Usopp, Franky and the others were already primed to attack the factory.

"I'll go with you Luffy, you are definitely smarter than I am, and if the princess is in the palace, I want to see her safe."

Wicca smiled at him and prepared her tiny little lance. Luffy and Baby 5 smiled and prepared themselves to leave. His observation would be limited while he moved so the damn CP0 would have a little breathing room. However, if there was any dumbshit agent that was arrogant enough to try and move, Luffy would like to see them try.

"It seems that nobody is going to the castle anymore. And there's some sort of presence still remaining there, it seems that it's one of your kind."

Luffy flexed his back muscles as he exited the little cabin in the flower field. The cool wind passed him by and the flowers all faced him and smiled. The world was blessed with the advent of a literal god. The blue skies cleared and the sun hit his body. Wicca came and rested herself on his mane of hair, with her jumping around excitedly with her tiny little spear, ready for combat. And then with her wine-colored maid outfit and clicking heels on the floor. Baby 5 jumped and landed on his shoulder, with her cigarette puffing smoke, and with her smooth and creamy legs crossing as she sat on his shoulder. Wicca grabbed his hair, and Luffy pressed his hand on Baby 5's smooth thighs to support her body. Luffy grinned and jumped towards the castle in one single time. Breaking the air in half, his body went like a missile.

Wicca was screaming with joy and Baby 5 was experiencing the wind in her hair, with a smirk of a warrior who was finally going to go towards a battle. A battle that called for the blood of Doflamingo. It was finally time they entered the fray and destroyed everything that Doflamingo and his supporters built. Everything would be destroyed until only ashes remain—this Baby 5 promised.

The blue-haired Wicca charged forward to the soldiers protecting the room, her little spear inserted itself on the soldiers' ears, bursting to the other side, in a brutal fashion. She did this three more times, while Baby 5 gunned down the others.

Wicca was jumping between the soldier's shoulders, impaling their shoulders down until she hit the lungs. The mercenaries hit by this attack would suffer a punctured lung while others had their ears impaled by her small spear. It was a cruel method of attack that left blood leaking out of a small quarter-sized hole in the affected areas. Those with a punctured lung would feel a liquid being inserted in one of their languid and would collapse on the ground trying to cough it out, but it kept filling and filling as they coughed and heaved and then died on the spot.

Baby 5 was a woman with the power of weapons, and she could transform any part of her body into any weapon she imagined. One of those was a heat-guided missile from her arm and shoulders. It flew and then impacted, making a shockwave that lifted people off the floor, and their bodies broke and then were passed by what seemed like a meat-grinder as they rolled over with the dust hitting them. It was an incredible show of destruction, But she wasn't done yet. She transformed her legs into scythes and danced between the survivors, her legs taking many lives as the blades dissected their heads and torsos, leaving heavy gory wounds with yellow fat and blood leaking out until they died on the floor, trying to crawl away with fatal wounds. One even had his forehead, eye, and ear cut off 4 centimeters deep, Luffy could see parts of his brain trying to escape the thin cut to his skull right in the front of his face.

pauldrons. The man spoke threatenly for a second, with a fragile voice. He held powers over stone. Luffy faced him while baby 5 recognized the man immediately.

"That's Pica. The man can go through stone like a liquid and can control any stone in the world."

"How dare you betray us, Baby 5? I will kill you, and Straw Hat as well!" The man had a fragile voice, like a squeaky toy. The man raised his Haki and brandished his sword, ready to face Luffy and Baby 5, as well as the small Wicca, who was eating some potato chips on Luffy's shoulders.

"Do you think this is a joke?" Luffy warned him.

Pica was taken aback by the darkness streaming through the corridors, it was like the world lost all its color, and Luffy's face was carved out of marble, his grey eyes with white pupils looked stormy. His supreme king's Haki was leaking again. However, this time, it was something that felt unbearable to even Pica.

Pica, who was far away, jumped back like a scaredy-cat and then retreated under the stone, escaping deep within the walls.

"Pica-samaaaaa!" The soldiers who were near the tall Luffy cried for their master who had run away like a coward. Luffy looked down, and then the soldier realized that the man's attention was on him.

"Arrrgh. No please!" The man threw his rifle on the ground and ran away. The other didn't do so, instead of surrendering, the man took his shot and aimed at Luffy's chin. The bullet just bounced off a metallic black skin.

Luffy used his index and middle finger, swiping diagonally from underneath. Those two fingers met the sternum of his intended victim, and like a shovel separating sand, the upper part of the man's body was carved and separated from the diaphragm, the whole upper body, along with its spine was lifted and bounced off the wall. All that was left was a torso and legs, only to the height of the stomach and liver. On the side of the wall were the rest of him, the head, and the chest attached, with misaligned lungs because there was no bottom anymore. The legs and torso fell to the floor as it spits out blood onto the air. The guy who left survived, and the guy who shot died.

Luffy looked left towards a door that was previously unexplored and not filled with bodies. The stone man, whoever he was, had already escaped to the city. Luffy did not pursue the coward because that was the job of his crew, as well as Law's.

Luffy walked forward, stepping on the carnage, and broke the box. Inside was a precious little fairy, a Tontatta named Mansherry, the princess of the people of the Tontattas.

"Luffy, is she the little princess?"

"My name is Mansherry, you people are?" Mansherry was crying in her tiny little prison. Luffy took the shackles off her body, and offered his hand as Mansherrry saw Wicca.

Ann giggled a bit at the great celebration for the release of the toys, many people had been granted their freedom today, and as someone who always fought oppression in violent, or peaceful ways, she was happy for them. Ann was a very intimidating woman, she wasn't that tall but she had lilac hair and white eyes that intimidated anyone and most of the people of the world had seen her face somewhere since she was one of the few women with a bounty worth over billions. Anyone over a billion is worthy of respect and is a target to be feared. The Bloody Regicide got her bounty by slaughtering many kings in her lifetime. It could be said that in the known history, Annabelle was the woman who killed the most kings out of all of the people who lived in 800 years of history and wars.

Her reputation was a given, and that was why those who recognized her, slowly walked away from her general vicinity, they didn't want to be 20 meters near her and had their eyes aimed at her, scared of any potential attack or anything that might make her snap at them.

"In any case, we needed to destroy the weapons manufacturing and the ports Usopp and Robin already had helped us with our mission. So we will pay our debts and help you destroy the factory for the SMILE fruits, we of the revolutionaries find that fruit to be repugnant, and that fruit has some unforeseen circumstances for those who are unlucky."

Ann was the one taking charge, Franky met her in the halls after his match and she had told him who she was. Luffy's big sister, the aura and power were certainly reminiscent of his captain, however she was completely different from Luffy in terms of looks. Franky knew they were not connected by blood and that he had two siblings, one he lost during his childhood and the other in the war.

So this is the other one, so she has faked her death. Luffy is going to be so surprised when he sees her I'll bet. Franky thought as he followed them.

Usopp had asked her what her relationship with their captain was. She then readily announced they were siblings, to the surprise of the warriors now ready to take their arms against Doflamingo. It was weird to ask since, after the war, all knew that Luffy's brother had died, so that meant Annabelle, the Bloody Regicide, was the sister of Fire Fist Ace. This family was getting crazier by the minute.

Usopp felt his bones creak as he got up. Without Chopper here, then it meant things would have to go forth without a specialized doctor. Still, Koala helped him out a lot. Any ally of Luffy's was always surprisingly kindhearted when compared to how bloody and cruel the Straw Hat could be. The warriors down here armed themselves with the weapons they were transporting in this Underground Port, most headed upwards. Along with the legendary warriors, they couldn't leisure about here while they had a duty to take care of, to massacre Doflamingo and destroy his army.

Annabelle looked at Robin, who had taken off previously, there were definitely some feelings of inadequacy and fury inside of the Demon Child Robin, and this fight of hers would make her even stronger, so Ann let her go, sometimes these feelings of frustration need to be resolved sooner rather than later, and Robin was a critical person in the grand scheme of things.

"I wish to go to Zou right now to see Momonosuke, however..." The samurai spoke. He wielded two swords with an orange-colored kimono typical for the region he lived in. Ann never really went to Wano, but she had information on her side. The revolutionary army commanders knew most of the kingdoms in this floating rock in space. Wano was an interesting one, for sure.

"Kin-san, we need to help here first." And the one to respond was an icy cold samurai, a tall woman with a purple ponytail and a demon mask. There was a chilling presence to this one and a fiery one to the other. They looked like they were close friends, and they were now acting as allies.

"We offer all our services to Luffy-dono. It was him who made our reunion possible. If not for him, we would have lost our lives by now, and worst of all, Momonosuke-sama would have perished, shaming all of us and all we sacrificed."

"She's right, and we know that Momonosuke-sama has set out for Zou. However, our work here is not done. I might not have met your leader Luffy-dono, but we are deeply indebted, and we'll use our sword and might to make things right in this country."

Both samurai had dependable looking auras as the ground cracked in their presence, both Franky and Usopp gave their sincere smirks, and Ann and the others whistled, impressed by their commitment. Their strength was as tangible as having a river stop you in your tracks. That's how powerful these samurai were, and Ann was frankly astonished that her little brother made these two allies for life and so easily. The woman with the demon mask looked ready to die thousands of times just for Luffy, and it felt incredibly invigorating to hear their words.

"Alright, we need a group to storm the factory and another to go above ground and sort most of the confusion outside."

"Let us deal with the factory. You guys are the revolutionaries, aren't you?" Franky asked them, and Hack and Koala nodded. "Then go and save those people above the ground. SMILE manufacturing is our job. Killing the Doflamingo Family members is our job." Franky told her he knew that the family members would all be trying to protect their dear leader's source of income. If that was lost, they knew that one of the Four Emperors would rain his fury even further. The family also knows the Straw Hats would arrive at the Factory's doors... Because they also wanted to kill the Straw Hats, it was a done deal they'd be there. Franky and the others knew they were going to face a tough battle ahead.

Usopp flexed his shoulder and then focused and was able to sense the presence of people all over. Franky looked at his hand, and his fingers darkened as some hidden power had awakened. Both Straw Hats were in the worst condition in their lives to fight such tough opponents, but they were also feeling their best in their entire lives. It was time to show that the Straw Hats weren't beings who should be underestimated. Robin had left for her fight for the same reason. There was a big wall right in front of them, and they had to climb it without their captain's help. Zoro wasn't here, and Sora wasn't here. They had to do things by themselves now.

Franky closed his fist, and Usopp joined his side. The two samurai accompanied them as this powerful group marched forward into the Factory, where most of the family would be waiting for them.

"My little brother has such reliable allies, and it almost makes me tear up. He was always a handful then, and I'm sure he's even more of a pain now. But, on the other hand, seeing such people surround him fills me with happiness."

Ann's fists glowed bright white and unleashed white flames that burned the ships and shipments alike, the weapons here were melted, never to be used again, and the Straw Hat group walked away in a path surrounded by flames, with their backs broad and their hands on their weapons of murder.

"Now, let us go. We can't let the Navy get all the spotlight for saving people. There is also an Admiral here, and I would definitely want to kill him before the day ends."

Annabelle said to her comrades as they exited somewhere else. Going up to the surface, where confusion, chaos, and strife would certainly be happening now, the country was thrown into the wolves. Ann had entered her stage as well, the stage where dynasties are upheaved by their roots, and the seeds of revolution are thrown to those who have had enough.

The toys had become normal again. Which meant that some undesirables also had been released. Dangerous animals had been unleashed, causing confusion. Dangerous criminals and outlaws wanting revenge on Doflamingo roared and assaulted the law and enforcement barracks across towns to gather weapons and ammunition.

"We're going to end Doflamingo's life, don't care about any other. Just kill them all!" One of the greatest threats to the peace of Dressrosa, an invading pirate said to his crew. Waldwick Hades was one of the greatest pirate rookies from 8 years ago. The man had a bounty of 230 million and both his subordinates Farley and Darland were each worth 80 million and 50 million.

He had now organized the pirate crew after invading the barracks and killing off Doflamingo's crew, now it was time to torch this country, along with their king. Waldwick had tried invading but had lost because a damn kid had powers that he didn't realize were possible. Dressrosa was theirs to torch and pillage, this time, they were better prepared and knew the dangers of the Family.

Waldwick wielded his massive hammer and was about to crash onto a group of four civilian men walking away. As the explosions and confusions rocked the city, Waldwick was trying to kill everyone in this place, torch the entire city and drag every civilian down with the King.

As the men saw the massive hammer falling. They realized that someone was about to kill them, and the group of men fell to the ground. However the death blow was stopped by a massive hand, belonging to a massive arm.

And then, they saw someone that was supposed to be the devil if the papers and journals were to be believed.

A man with a Straw Hat on his back. His body was muscular, and he had a black-haired lady on his shoulder, and two tiny fairies on his other, a blonde-haired princess of the Tontattas and a blue-haired warrior girl from the same tribe.

It was Luffy.

It was Monkey D. Luffy.

"No civilians shall die, that's what I promised—however pirates and warriors are not civilians right?"

Luffy said so silently, and before the man could use his devil fruit ability to fight, Luffy pushed his hand and clenched it, destroying the hammer with sheer power, before grabbing the man's face and doing the same. Each finger cracked the man's skull before crushing the fluids into a paste inside of the head, inflating some of the brain's matter before the fingers touched and caved the brain and a few bits of flesh, bone and dark meat flew from behind his head, and part of his hair fell with it. And scattered on the floor, Luffy was still holding half the man's face on his large hand and he squished it, some parts popped just like slime, while others were like hardened sand and cracked and turned into dust. Luffy had removed part of the man's head and still held the man's face before crushing that face, with the nose and eyes popping like small bloody balloons and redness and darkness dripped from that enclosed hand. A face had been folded like a piece of paper, and the rest of the head scattered on the ground.

A horrid sight to the ones who had followed this captain, captain Waldwick until today.

Mansherry turned green at the violence but focused her attention on healing the wounds of the civilians and populace nearby, with her ability sucking out the vitality of Luffy to do so. She used his volatility and life force to heal others by his command. So she ended up healing a large number of people that would have already died by now. Even those with grievous wounds and lost limbs amongst the explosions happening all over. That's how much vitality she was constantly sucking from his body and spirit, and yet Luffy did not feel even a little tired.

The crew all flinched, and even those two that had bounties were afraid of the man who killed their 400 million berry captain with just one hand.

"I am merciless."

Luffy looked at them, and then a red wave with thunderous clouds and lightning soared from his body, a terrible aura of death. The Supreme King's Haki ability he had reached allowed him to kill those weak enough with his Supreme King's, which meant the whole crew of 200 pirates, along with the two with their bounties, had fallen to their knees, blood pouring from their orifices, as Luffy exploded their hearts. Luffy was surprised, before his Supreme King's was able to stop the hearts of those who went before him. His presence of will was able to take lives as easily as looking at them. And yet, this time the effect was completely different. The corpses were bleeding, and their chests were darkened in color, and inflated with blood. A heart is a muscle, the pressure needed to implode such an organ was high. And before that, most other organs would suffer the same fate. However, it was just the heart.

His Supreme King's worked in mysterious ways indeed.

I guess it's growing stronger.

Then, some bounty hunters jumped from the roof behind Luffy, intending on capturing his incredible bounty. However, Baby took a puff from her cigarette and one of her elbows turned into a shotgun and blasted a round of scattered blades. Those blades turned out to be little, tiny saws with mine-blades moving like tiny worms in their edge.

"What…?"

"Block them, they are so tiny…"

The two turned their arms black. Luffy was surprised that even lowlifes like them had a tiny bit of knowledge about Haki, but this was the New World, it was safe to say every enemy from this point forward would know about Haki at least a little, but their armament was so weak it was almost painful to watch their defense in midair. The knives hit their arms, legs and other spots. Ignoring the metallic protection entirely and wounding them so deeply it cut through bone. They excavated deep into their bodies, and because of their form they kept digging like bot flies inside until the bounty hunters keeled over.

"Here." Mansherry said with a smile as she cured a man with a torn leg. He was a father of two sons, and the little tykes were hugging and crying with their father. They did not want him to die, so they stayed with him. However, Luffy came at the right time to save these people and others all around, most of them vomiting at the cruel sight Luffy had produced, however a little golden fairy was going by each of them and smiling and healing them.

Mansherry smiled as the crowd of survivors were all alright now. Then a huge hand grabbed her kindly, and she was lifted so high above the air, and landed on a gentle muscular shoulder. She looked at Luffy who had picked her up, and smiled with a head-tilt, what a cute little princess she was. Baby 5 stepped on his arm and placed herself on his other shoulder. He was basically a vehicle now. Luffy grinned and pressed on both so they wouldn't fall during the flight.

Luffy did not look to those he saved and jumped towards another place.

Jumping around from place to place, this group saved countless citizens all having trouble during this commotion, Luffy promised to not let a single of them die. However, that promise did not include the rogues messing people's lives.

"Luffy-sama, shouldn't you keep your enemies alive?" Mansherry had asked that question, she oversaw the cruelty he dished on those who attacked citizens, and the merciless and brutal ways he ended their lives and his smile as he did so with gusto. Luffy was a kind person, but his fights looked almost like a world villain stomping on defenseless people, it was vomit-inducing sometimes.

"No, whether I kill or keep my enemies alive is my choice, I do what I feel like."

"But why? Couldn't they just reform, or maybe see the errors of their ways…?"

"Maybe, but that doesn't influence my choice of killing them or not."

"I don't understand."

"It's simple, will I enjoy killing them or not? There's nothing else involved."

If he felt pleasure in killing someone, then he would kill that person. If it would leave a bad taste in his mouth, then he would leave that person alive. His decision process was really that basic. Would they reform if kept alive…? Were there villains harming people because they had a righteous cause? Were there villains whose anger was justified?

It didn't matter, all that mattered was if it left a good or a bad taste in his mouth afterwards. And those who followed Straw Hat were now emulating that style of fighting. After all, you tend to emulate those you admire.

X❖X

At one of the empty mountains off the coast of Dressrosa, in the desert's rocky top you could see two figures trying their hardest to kill each other. The wind was strong, but the sun was even hotter as the glistening clay-like rocks kept shining the sun on their faces all the time. Doflamingo attacked Law again. His strings drew a big arch and were hitting empty air as Law teleported around in his room and the little brat tried cutting him. Law appeared from behind, as the sword of death fell into the plumage coat Doflamingo wore, however Doflamingo just flew away at the last second, leaving a string behind to try and cut Law horizontally, bisecting his body into two halves. However, Law anticipated that and moved away. Doflamingo drew a flame whip and scorched the area where Law would appear but it was a fake-out and Law appeared beneath Doflamingo's foot, trying to use both fingers to electrocute the Heavenly Demon.

Doflamingo jumped away, as one of his spies kept reporting the situation down in his capital. Doflamingo could see rising confusion and many rioting figures from afar. This kingdom went to the dogs really fast while he was away. Doflamingo clicked his tongue as he felt 10 years of kingdom-building wash away in mere hours. The gall of these people, they were living pleasant and rich lives just a few hours ago, and now they were all throwing it away. Doflamingo wanted to execute each and every one of them now, by his hands. That's how furious Doflamingo was becoming.

Going full power against Law here was a mistake, Fujitora and that Straw Hat were still roaming around, and he frankly doubted whether his crew could beat the captain of the Straw Hat crew by themselves. Sugar was also indisposed, and many of the family were now barricading themselves in the Factory, not letting any attackers get inside. Which meant the situation above-ground was a mess that needed fixing.

"Law, is it time that I use that again?" Doflamingo's lips became truly demonic as his laugh went on forever. It had been a long time since he used the bird cage. However, Law hadn't seen it since Corazon died, that snowy island brought back terrible memories for both Doffy and Law, didn't it? A brother betrays him, and he could even get the damn fruit, and Law, losing his only ally in the world at the time. Doflamingo was still angry years and years later, if he had that immortality surgery, by now he and his family would have been on top. Why did Corazon have to betray him just for a measly ill-ridden brat!

Law was reminded of it also, and there was a glint of sadness and a tinge of fear, but Law was already worth 900 million. He grew strong, and this was the day his revenge was going to be completed. Law would get his vengeance, and if Doflamingo wanted to do something so stupid like a bird cage in his own Kingdom then the Heavenly Demon was going to have a rude awakening—because he was here in this kingdom, Monkey D. Luffy that is.

"You're going to kill the whole of your population, alongside your own family members? Be my guest, it won't work, you idiot." Law insulted the plan, it was a waste of time.

"Oh, I thought you'd be more scared than that. It seems the scaredy little boy has matured somewhat. Still, all those people you tried so hard to protect are going to die, you know?"

Doflamingo did not know why Law was so confident, or maybe the brat did not really care about the lives of the Dressrosa's populace. Regardless of Law's sudden demeanor, the bird cage was inescapable once you were in it, and it was impossible to remove unless the user was incapacitated. Nevertheless, Law opened his mouth, and his words made Doflamingo's forehead burst into multiple veins.

"When you speak like this, I often realize that you're the one being cornered, now you know the power of the Straw Hat crew, most of your family is holding themselves for a siege, and two of them even betrayed you. The Navy won't be so silent and the pirates who were transformed into toys have become human again. Your back is against the wall, and you can't kill everyone by yourself. You aren't strong enough if you're struggling to bring this fight to a close."

"You're a thorn in my side, but I don't really care anymore. I brought prosperity to Dressrosa, and now they are going to pay what they owe me."

"Weren't taxes, women and booze enough for you? What a shitty ruler you are."

"I might be a bad tyrant, but I am better than the Riku dynasty, the people were able to enjoy 10 years of richness in their lives. Now, they are all going to pay what they owe me is all—their lives are mine for the taking, a tyrant has no need for subjects who rebel against him. What, Law, are you going to stop me? You can't, right? We're more than even in this match, which means I can escape from this battle any time I want."

Doflamingo wanted to escape, while law was strong enough to keep him grounded for a while, it wouldn't be a strange to say that Doflamingo was still uninjured enough to escape. Thus, Law called in a taunt to make Doflamingo want to stay here and fight him.

"Is the mighty Heavenly Demon going to run from a fight."

Doflamingo did not rise to the taunt over his pride this time around. Which made Law panic.

"Hahahaha, watch me Law, it's not like I am running away. I'm just pausing our death match for just a few minutes. A king has kingly duties to take care of."

Doflamingo did not rise to the taunt over his pride this time around. Which made Law panic. Doflamingo rose three titanic rocks and cut the whole mountain off. Doflamingo flew to the city as a hail of ton-heavy rocks kept falling. Law had to keep track of where the rocks w

"Dammit, come back here you coward!"

"Don't worry Law, I will be the one to finish you off myself."

Law teleported between rocks as they fell towards the ground and collapsed. Law couldn't keep teleporting forever, and had already fought since this morning, he was growing tired of using his stamina-intensive power while Doflamingo could conserve his flight with just a few strings. Law fell to the desert and stopped pursuing.

"Dammit."

Fighting against his archenemy wasn't as easy as he thought it would be. Even after growing this strong, Doflamingo was able to still fight evenly. The fight for Dressrosa threatens to last days if not weeks at this point.

Pica had escaped to the center of the city, the populace was still rioting and trying to make sense of what was happening today. There were pirates plundering, animals running, and citizens revolting. However, Pica was still scared of that memory. The corridor leading to the Straw Hat Luffy, at that moment, Pica felt he would truly lose his life if he had taken another step forward. "Dammit. I can't let this shake me."

A crew of pirates nearby, and a great ape turned to stare at the huge Pica, and laughed at his voice, it was so thin, and unlike something a human would say, it was more like a voice from a stupid children's toy or something akin to it.

"—Are you laughing at me, you bastards?"

A chew toy was lower in pitch than Pica was, and that made a strange sight when people compared his voice with his build. Pica, however, did not agree with their laughter, they were laughing so hard it was hard to pick their weapons.

"Prepare to die!" Even when the ground surged with stone skewers, the pirates were still doubled over laughing, and couldn't escape very well. Their stomachs pierced through, being lifted off the floor, to the sounds of screams from the near rioting citizens. The blood leaking out and staining the stone spikes.

Most of the new recruits had laughed and were thoroughly punished, anyone who'd laugh was either executed by one of the Family members or even Doflamingo himself would act. Pica trusted the honor of his family above everything else and being a coward now would not help anyone.

Pica was young when he started working for Doflamingo, he was an orphan picked up by Trebol, and the man had decided to serve under a betrayed Celestial Dragon at the time. Even when he first met Doflamingo Pica never once saw him laugh or mock his voice, in fact Doflamingo was impressed by Pica's ability to slaughter his opponents dead. Even at nine-years old, Pica could throw two men at once. And for that, he was soon one of the major forces of the new Doflamingo Family, both Corazon and Doflamingo were very patient with him, which made the events of decades later still sadder. Pica had served under this crew for over 31 years at this point, and he saw a lot of things during his time. What he learned was pretty simple, the world mocked him and his family, however as long as they were family, they could strike back at the world no matter what.

Now, the biggest threat to that family had arrived, and if Pica did not rise to meet the challenge, then he would be losing his family before his eyes. He'd rather drown in a sinking ship with his family, rather than abandon them here. If they could not escape the fate of being slaughtered, then Pica would do anything to raise hell for their enemies.

"Straw Hats, I'll kill all of them, as well as all the stragglers in the city, I will end them no matter what." His speech was more so to convince himself of his willingness to die here.

Pica submerged himself in stone, and then the city itself rose against its own citizens, and the enemies of his family.

"It hurts, father! I can't take it anymore." it was his brother speaking out, the three of them have been suspended and nailed their walls. their house was burning behind them, well hope with therapy in this place where they weren't able to live in peace. However, Doffy just blamed his own father for this. Gods and humans shouldn't be living in the same place, and now they were crucifying them for no sins at all. Doffy didn't even know these people, and he had done no evil to them as far as he knew. However, at this very moment he wanted to, he wanted to drag their bodies across miles carried by donkeys. He wanted to gut their stomachs and drag out their entrails as they watched their lives go by. He wanted to personally decapitate them with a very rusty knife to feel the back of their napes with his bare hands. Maybe even tie their legs to two bulls and watch as they rip and tear them in half.

However right now he was the one being crucified and tortured. Stones hit his body, there was a splinter on his leg and many more injuries were placed on hand by this trash heap of a mob. By his side, both his father and brother were receiving similar treatments. The flames we're burning his house, the home he lived in. His brother was crying weekly for them to stop, and Doffy was also crying, but he was not a defeatist weakling test like his brother was.

If his brother only could feel despair and a desire to die, then Doffy felt different. All this torture only made him feel rage.

"I will remember this, even if I go to hell, I'll drag each and every one of you down. I'll murder you all, I'll throw your remains to the dogs, so they feel what it's like to consume human shit! I will not die! I will survive everything you throw at me, and I will be the one laughing at your carcasses on the side of the road! I will kill each and every one of you!" And the will responded fiercely, making those below him faint from the presence of a Supreme King.

From that day onward, Doffy made sure to kill everyone who laughed at him, and his now-made family. The one previous to that was a traitorous one. Both father and brother had betrayed him, and his mother died because of his father's actions. The heavenly Demon could no longer return to paradise, and now that he was older, he didn't want to return to a man-made piece of shit land above the others. Doffy wanted to build his own paradise, even greater than what Marie Geoise represented. He arrived at his room in the palace, passing by countless bodies of his hired goons. All useless, what a waste of money. Doffy did not even care about the body of hired guns, because they weren't from his family. Now, both Baby 5 and Violet had betrayed him. Both betrayals stung really deep, especially his lover Violet. Violet and Monet were with him for the longest time, he thought—No need to think about that now. In the end, Monet is now dead, and Violet has betrayed me.

Doflamingo put his hand up in the air, as a string cloud was formed in the air, then the extremities lowered, almost like a cage of steel, a semi-circle cage was born in the air. The cage was large enough to envelop the island and went out towards the sea. 20 meters off the coast, the strings had landed and dug deep into the ground. It was now deep underground, 100 meters deep into the core of the earth. The cage had its bars only 15 centimeters apart, so anything other than small animals would be killed. Doffy knew there would probably be survivors, he was counting on that. Now that the cage was put in place, his family could survive by diving into the factory since it would survive the bird cage or come to the palace since it was the origin point of the spell. The bars inched closer and closer, closing on the island and the shore. Depending on the resistance, the cage would fully close and bisect everyone in four hours. Any Logia types would be surprised by the application of Haki into the strings, anyone trying to escape by Logia methods would have a nasty surprise indeed.

Now, as he announced his terror over the island populace, he warned there was a way to stop the bird cage from advancing, along with a very big carrot for their troubles. Kill one of the targets that infuriated him, and you'd be rewarded with a large sum of cash, this would rile up the uprising pirates even further. Right now, his chances of winning against everyone are slim. But if he cold incite infighting and riots and confusion among the people of Dressrosa, he would easily be able to murder everyone while they salivated over a prospect of saving themselves, or a big cash prize in the end. It was quite simple, every star was worth 100 million berries in prize. He could already feel the rogue pirates chomping at the bit by that revelation.

"Here is the list of those who need to be hunted down..."

Kin'emon, One Star. The piece of shit Samurai who made a mess out of things a week prior.

Violet, One Star. His lover wanted her hunted down and crucified, though there was a desire to get the revenge he wanted by his own hands. Maybe that was why he put her even lower than normal.

Rebecca, One Star. The granddaughter of the king, she was a fine gladiator and heel, but her usefulness had reached its limits.

Riku Doldo III, One Star. The damn old king was still alive, there was no way he could miss the chance of seeing his dead body.

Franky, One Star. He had made a mess of the gladiator's arena, and he was a dangerous prospect that still remained here.

Annabelle, Three Stars. The damn revolutionary bitch just needed to die.

Kikunojo, Three Stars. This one was personal, she had eaten the fruit of his lover, Monet, just from that implication alone made him stew in rage.

Nico Robin, Three Stars. The devil child, seeing her dead, would throw the world into even more chaos. He really wanted to see what the world would become after the death of the last Ohara researcher.

Monkey D. Luffy, Three Stars.

Trafalgar Law, Five Stars.

God Usopp, Five Stars.

There was no need to explain about these.

After announcing the names, he escaped to fight again. There was no way that Law would be leaving this island alive. Midway, Law teleported and his blade ready for a shot at Doflamingo's heart, Doflamingo evaded the strike, however the lunge pierced the crust, making even the island shake a little.

"I used it, Law. Things are happening so sudden, without my control. And I am mad enough not to let anyone from the Straw Hats live. I don't know who to trust other than my own family, but now both Baby 5 and Violet have betrayed me… "

"All I need to do is kill you until the cage closes and that's the end of it, right?" Law faced him. It seems things were getting even more serious all of the sudden.

X❖X

Usopp got up, there was something weird about him now that he noticed, there was a strong power inside of him. However, he did not know how to control it. He had to run away from here, because now he was being pursued by those he saved. It was not all of them, but when offered a bounty of 500 million, then it was hard to pass up.

He climbed the hill as he evaded those pirates who had betrayed him for the gold that was just announced. It was ungrateful to see those he saved had turned on him so fast, still many pirates did not care about the money and were fighting against Doflamingo. However, those were already gone by then. They went towards the surface and had already left. Usopp's mission was to destroy the factory. However, he got separated when that announcement blared, and the island moved because of the birdcage digging deep into the island's crust. You could say that Usopp was scared about the announcements and how badly the leader of the Doflamingo family wanted to kill him. It made sense that he was targeting him because he and Robin had been a nuisance since the very morning when they had infiltrated the castle and killed hordes and hordes of his hired guns there. Usopp was a little, understandably, frightened that he'd be attacked and shanked from behind, but now that he had a mysterious power surging within him. Was there a time when he couldn't sense people? He has been feeling like this ever since the archipelago where he trained. The danger lurked everywhere he went, and most of his projectiles never hurt the flora or fauna there.

Usopp smiled wryly at being able to sense those things. He knew it might have been his imagination or whatever, so he never put stock in it until there was a moment where a venomous beetle had gotten really close, and Usopp was ignoring his instincts. Usopp never again ignored his gut feeling or intuition to run away in a situation after that. He conceded he could sense things around him, but never actual people. It was after that desperate battle against Sugar and Trebol, that desperate struggle that almost left both Robin and Usopp dead. He unlocked something back then. Franky was feeling the same way. This what's the new power that they needed to master. He caught some explanations given to him by Sora, Zoro, and Luffy after the two years passed by. They commented about Haki, sometimes beneath their breath, sometimes out loud, as if they had some power and the rest of the crew did not.

If Usopp could master this Haki thing, then maybe he could stand side by side with the strongest people in his crew, or at least that was the aim right now. Usopp wanted to be recognized as a brave warrior of the sea. And a warrior knows only to fight and win. If Usopp could not resist his opponents from now on and win at his fights, then he could not be considered a warrior, and he could not face the Giants whose culture was so deeply rooted in combat and honor. Usopp would confront a very uphill battle from now on, as he would face many more opponents, which he was not prepared for in the past. Usopp could say that this was the start of a new trial for him to reach his dream of being the greatest warrior of the sea.

"Yes, I will not be only a warrior—I'm going to be the best one," Usopp said with muttered breaths with the remaining portion of his courage.

Now in this vast underground port with flames, death and destruction everywhere, he faced the ones pursuing him.

"500 million berries. What a steal, what a prize for a coward's head!"

"He is stopping. Did he give up on running away? Haha, come here. I'll slash off your head neatly. I learned this trick when I was back in West Blue. Don't worry, my victims never really feel pain when they die!"

Pirates in droves, bounty hunters and mercenaries and many criminals who had been just given freedom were now slobbering over prize money that ordinary people would never believe would be given to them. It 's the height of stupidity to think that Doflamingo would let anyone stay alive—Doflamingo was close in characteristics and personality to Luffy, so Usopp knew that both of them would be merciless to their enemies. The only difference was how much they cared for their allies. Doflamingo did not even care about those innocent and the partners he had. All he saw was convenient family members who were like tools to him. Once one betrays him, he doesn't even know why, because he never cared in the first place to understand why that traitor was thinking.

Therefore, Doflamingo would fail in the end. Doflamingo never really trusted his family. While Luffy trusted his crew to finish this by themselves, he saved those who could not protect themselves in this Kingdom. Luffy trusted in the Straw Hats to see this conflict and this war through until the end. And that gave courage and a sense of responsibility within Usopp, which was why Franky and Robin were so committed to their fights. The samurai were already honor-bound to serve duty to pay for their deaths of saving their Lord's child. One could simply know that Luffy believed in those he had just met, which made Usopp think significantly of his captain.

Usopp did not care about bloodshed even though it sometimes scared him, but the heat has seen things back in Alabasta and Enies Lobby. Bloodshed was something that this world excelled in. Fighting fire with fire was a myth at this point. Usopp knew this crew needed to mature even further than they were. Well, slaughtering everybody in their way wasn't the best option. This crew was doing at this point in time that knew that they would mature even further than this. However, killing was a part of their life now.

And thus, Usopp stopped and faced every single one of his pursuers, and that was why he wasn't afraid of killing them all. Because if you were dumb enough to believe Doflamingo's words and cause even more trouble for this Kingdom, then Usopp wouldn't forgive you.

Usopp pointed at the ground he had just walked past. They walked right into the minefield, slobbering with their eyes as they geared up to kill him with their weapons, bows, javelins, and whatever they carried. However, they had just walked into his trap. Death by impalement wasn't the prettiest thing in the world, and that's why he didn't want to show this scene to people up above. That was why Usopp was here underground, because those who would think that he was a monster and a devil combined into a coward couldn't see his killings.

"Death greens—Impalement."

Thousands of newly released toys, humans, criminals. It didn't matter who they were. All that mattered was that they were causing issues for the Straw Hats and the innocent people up above. They believed in the words of tyrants and would kill for their greed. Regardless, Usopp was also ready to kill for his justice as a great warrior of the sea.

And then a sea of sugarcanes sprouted from the floor. These sugarcanes produced a toxic substance that became infected when contacted with skin. 1 milligram was enough to kill a horde of mammoths. First, however, they impaled those passing by the destroyed field, spreading from the cracks in the stones and reaching upwards of 10 meters. They passed through muscle, bone, and organs and went through to the other side. There was a guy who got impaled in the back of the head, and the other side of the sugarcane had passed through the man's forehead and brow, popping the eye out from its socket, another had his foot and knees impaled, as he hanged over the side, he died shortly after from the toxin. Then, of course, many were pierced in the ass or in the crotch, making it into a complete impalement execution.

"It doesn't matter if you survive the initial impalement, if you were injured, or even touch the sugar canes, your body will shut down in a few seconds either way. These produce a deadly sweet sugar, after all." Usopp turned his back on the field of the dead. The sugar canes deconstructed themselves after that.

Usopp headed towards the factory, with injuries still all over. But now, with the resolve of a warrior committed to his dream. His glare differed from who he was two years ago. His fingers and legs turned metallic black as his will rose, not noticing he was using armament Haki by accident.

Usopp moved forward with intent.

X❖X

Machvise, Dellinger, Lao G. and Senor Pink were there, in front of the grand factory. All to protect the place from any intruders. The four members of the family remained strong as hordes of people wanting revenge for their treatment as toys.

But there were some enemies that even those four had to play their hands carefully. They have now arrived.

Kin'emon.

Kikunojo.

Usopp.

Franky.

Their mission was still the same, to kill the Doflaimingo Family, and to destroy their factory that produced four had arrived, and only the desire to kill was left in this place. The Doflamingo Family's anger, and the Straw hats resolute will to complete their mission given by their captain.

X❖X

Trebol was there in the great field of sunflowers, and on his front was someone with a grim and dark expression. She had narrowed eyes and that expression made it known her intentions of killing him.

"Nico Robin, the most valuable Straw Hat. What would happen if you died here: You're fighting against a Logia, someone you have no protection against."

"..."

"Behehe, Doffy had his eyes on you, he always wanted to make you one of his lovers, and it would help him achieve his dreams of obtaining the One Piece. However, after his proclamation, you could guess what was on his mind. No Straw Hat will survive, not after the incident in Punk Hazard, we are a family, we do not forget our hatred and our grudges. I will definitely murder you for what your crew and Law did to Vergo. Behehehe."

They did not have the full range of events and exactly happened in Punk Hazard, but the Family knew that many members had died, and many of its members were dying even now. This was a war between the Straw Hats and the Doflamingo Family, nobody would take survivors… not even the last heir of the now lost Ohara.

What followed was a most difficult fight in which Robin had to give it her all or die in turn.

X❖X

Machvise rushed towards the flaming samurai with a glare. He couldn't believe that his dear friend Gladius was now dead. While not many people in the family appreciated Gladius for who he was, he was a vital member and never lost a battle. So the idea of Gladius losing didn't feel real in Machvise's mind. But now seeing how strong these pirates were, he was forced to reconcile. Samurai touched all those attacks, Machvise could increase his own power by using the power over weights tons and tons were added to punches that destroyed everything in his way. However the swordsman before him evaded all with the power over fire.

Foxfire Kin'emon was a grandiose samurai with a cold expression as he fought. He was charismatic, and often the one the other Red Scabbards turned to, however that all changed twenty years ago. The red scabbards scattered with time. He didn't even know if the ones left to the time were even there to begin with, all he could do was hope and pray. Kin'emon put fire on one of his blades and dodged a fist weighted like a stone building crashing on top of him. And sliced cleanly through the flesh of the arm that passed him by, revealing the muscle and bone of the man's arms. Machvise cried in pain as he saw how his arm was literally cut following the bone, he could see the naked shoulder exposing all the blood and torn veins. The flames had singed parts of his inner muscles, and bruised his bone. The pain was so much that Machvise crashed.

Gladius being defeated. Gladius being dead?

Why, why did this have to happen?

Gladius was his best friend all along. Machvise cried for his departed friend, and the inability to defeat the man before him. Machvise in the end, tried one more thing, he rushed into a charge. Trying to use a body blow with the weight of 20 freight trains combined. However, the blade clearly followed with the force he pushed, and sliced off Machvise's knees. Ripping apart at his legs. Completely crippling Machvise. Machvise sobbed on the ground like a baby, still not over Gladius dying off and being unable to even seek revenge for his best friend. The frustration and shame were killing him faster than even his wounds were.

"I'm sorry, I don't know you, but I must kill you. The world is dishonorable, but we samurai strive to recognize our opponents even in their last moments. This honor is not wasted, remember that." Kin'emon said, and raised his sword, collapsing on Machvise's neck. A samurai's method of execution, a clean slice off the neck.

Lao G. had promised himself to try and kill a Straw Hat no matter what. He was a martial artist that fought against all kinds of enemies before. And now, he was faced with another unique one. No matter, that blade would shatter with one of his strikes. His hand went forward, a spear-hand who would puncture her stomach. However, he felt chilly, as a demonic warrior of snow was formed with her, an armor that froze his approach. Almost like he was running in slow motion. "I have to thank Luffy-dono for graciously giving me such a power, it will be useful when I kill Kaido and Orochi." She was tall and leaned forward, and with a slice his spear-hand was cut in half. The old man saw his own hand being sliced in half like a carrot on a chopping board. The blade ended right on his shoulder, before she passed through to his armpit and cut deep into it.

"Warriors always die when you cut through their armpits." She said as a matter of fact, it was why often the more experienced blade users struck at the armpits for maximum damage. Lao G. did not take the memo to just up and die. Unless you were Luffy or some overwhelming force of strength and endurance, a martial artist against a blade master could only end up one way. No matter how many sword users Lao G. had aced in the past, Kikunojo of the Snow was a very merciless samurai who was raised as one of the Red Scabbards, if she wasn't strong, then she would have already sliced open her stomach in shame long ago.

"Even when facing an overwhelming opponent, always finish with a G!" The old man cried at the last moments of his life, he tried to kick her, however the same happened, from the soles of the boots, until his hip bone, her long katan sliced cleanly, not even using her own force, but the force of the foolish martial artist. He probably thought his kicks and punches were hardier than a blade's. However, Kikunojo used her snow to further congeal things and the blade to slice cleanly through soft flesh and bone. He might have thought he was moving fast enough to strike at metal and crush it, however he was moving slower than a kid jumping about, he did not know that his muscles and mind were being slowly hit by the cold.

I'm sorry, it seems I wasn't able to kill one of them, young master. I guess I'll join Gladius and Monet in hell now. I hope you escape this situation, and revive the family with new young ones, young master. Don't get caught up and don't ever give up your dreams.

The blade sliced up and cut his liver and lung in half before exiting his shoulder. Kikunojo sheathed her katana and took off the demon mask she used in combat, revealing her pretty face to the world. Kikunojo of the Snow had an important mission, kill Kaido and Orochi, and open up the borders of Wano, no martial artist, no matter how strong would ever get in the way of that dream.

"Why can't I hit you?"

The foot approached Usopp's head, and he avoided it with a swipe of his finger, and he brought the slingshot far back and shot a bubble plant that blew Dellinger back.

Usopp had a very concerned look as he assessed the situation. This guy was a frontal assault type, one of the worst enemy types for Usopp to face against. However, he was nothing compared to even the old Luffy in terms of power. Usopp traced his hat and fired off-gas plants that turned into stars with poison. However, the man avoided and rushed forward, preventing the sugar canes.

When Dellinger was about to hit Usopp, the sniper avoided again.

Instead, Usopp drew a slingshot right into Dellinger's teeth and shot camellias that spiked up and adhered to the skin. The deadly plant dug even deeper and caused intense bleeding with the coagulation inhibition the plants had, the same as balls of cactus, only much deadlier.

"What are these things?"

Dellinger tried to break the ball, but it split into more petite balls, piercing his shoulder, chest, and face. The spikes entered through the skin and hit the teeth underneath the jaw, messing up Delinger's gums and teeth and made him bleed fiercely. The boy's eyes turned red, and with the sharp teeth with a ruined mouth and lips, he charged forward.

Is this guy a half-Fishman?

Usopp deliberated as the boy charged mindlessly toward his trap. A wolf made of leaves bashed the boy to the floor. The boy bled to death as he looked up. The blood haze was drifting from his expression. And then he passed away.

I wonder what his story was. He seemed pretty dead-set in killing me, not for revenge against his other family dying, but because he just wanted to kill.

So Usopp thought as he lowered his head to the dead boy. It's not every day you'd see a mixed-race person. He was flamboyant and very carefree. Sadistic and bloodthirsty, and died in the pool of his blood.

However, Dellinger was also angry that his family had died. He simply could not correctly display sadness.

Dellinger was the product of a Fishman raping a woman. His mother abandoned him at birth. Ever since then, Giolla raised him. He was the youngest of the crew in terms of age. Dellinger was just a baby when Law had arrived and a child when Sugar and Monet entered the team. He grew up with death, and dangerous situations made him fight to survive or die, not much different from every other poor child or war survivor. His entire childhood was murdering those who made racist remarks or tried to mob him for his weird position of being a mixed baby.

Dellinger would not be welcome anywhere, not in the Human world and not in the Fishman world.

The Doflamingo Family was the only home he ever had. Just because Dellinger couldn't correctly show his sadness for Giolla's death, it did not mean Dellinger couldn't cry. Far away from his many enemies and drenched in his blood, he sobbed as his life left him.

Dellinger was a teenager who knew nothing, only the cruelty of the world. He did nothing and had accomplished nothing in the end. His dream of being the greatest martial artist and his goal of destroying those who hated his mixed-race went unfulfilled. Everybody in the world was looking for something. This bloodthirsty boy was no different. Nobody gave a damn, either.

"Watch out, Señor!"

The gaggle of naked women accompanying Señor Pink cried out for his safety, and yet he stood at the door where everybody else had fallen. The two samurai and Usopp were watching the battle. However, they did not destroy the factory because this man was still fighting his hardest to protect it. Franky looked at the three of them, and they nodded. They headed up above. This was a fight between the two of them, a one-on-one where nobody needed to interfere or watch from the sidelines. Franky would handle this and destroy the factory by himself. There was no need to be so rushed, and there were many conflicts up above that needed resolving.

X❖X

"Strong hammer!"

The black fist coated with metallic Haki hit the man with full force, yet the man took it with closed arms. Even as his pacifier went out of his mouth, Señor Pink bled fiercely, and his jaw was almost not working right anymore. Even then, with grit, he still faced forward, with a forlorn look upon that pacifier on the ground. Finally, Señor Pink sunk to the floor and shot out behind Franky, holding out his entire mechanical body and smashing into the floor in a suplex move. Franky's head bled out as well, feeling the damage hit him hard. The floor collapsed below and made a vast crater with blowing dust all around.

"Both of them are at their limits."

They had been fighting for more than an hour straight. This was a fight of honor. Nobody was dodging any attack the other threw. This was a battle to win, despite taking all the attacks from the opponent. Franky raised himself with a cascade of blood on the side of his forehead. Señor Pink wasn't finished. He grabbed Franky and used the power of his fruit to propel them into the air.

"The darkness of the underground. It wasn't really the best location for this battle. However, the sun of Dressrosa shines on the beautiful country. If someday I could have shown that sight to Russian."

"…"

Franky had listened to the story of Russian as they battled and what had happened to his child. Franky could only sight as the ground hit him full force. His head bobbed up and down as Señor Pink stood over his corpse. However, Franky wasn't the least dead. Franky raised with a resigned expression.

"Perhaps the sun of heaven is even more pretty, and they are enjoying themselves. Not that I'll be going there. —I lost." Señor Pink said with a resolute voice. Russian had died two years prior. Nevertheless, Señor Pink was still alive for the sole reason of serving the young master. And now that service has ended, both his son and wife were gone, and he persisted until one day he would die serving Doflamingo. He was honor-bound not to die until that day. And that day was today, it seemed. It was a grueling two years after his wife died. As he saw the bodies of his crew, he almost fell down in regret, but men did not shed tears so easily.

"Don't worry. You'll see the sun soon."

Franky yelled with all of his honor to finish the honorable fight. Señor Pink smirked as the fist of death arrived and destroyed his sunglasses along with his head. It was for certain, Señor Pink was definitely crying in his last moments, as a bunch of things went through his mind.

Those were dark nights. However, you arrived and brightened this fool's world. Because you smiled at me, I—

There were many agents of CP0 here on the island of Dressora, they were monitoring the situation between the king Doflamingo and the rest of the Straw Hats and wondered who would come out on top.

Emerson was one of these agents, it wasn't fighting but he was Adept at controlling cocky to hide his presents and he knew that someone was monitoring him possibly either the Flamingo or Straw Hat himself, which poses a very big trouble for all the nutrients they had to be sitting ducks and stay hidden for prolonged periods of times.

However it seems that straw hat had left his position and was now with a weekend sense of observation due to him moving and saving people all around, it gave Emerson a chance to peruse the city and do his shady business and finally integrate himself with the fleeing and confused population. However, he made a mistake and used too much Haki.

And soon he felt a chilling presence behind him, overwhelming and so deadly that he made him shiver with cold. He looked behind him and an oral test so dark and black was there and a hand came out of that darkness and so large that it enveloped his whole head around it. It was Straw Hat who had noticed him and immediately hunted him down, you could feel that all the other agents wanted to move butts when they noticed that one of their own was hunted down they came sitting ducks hibernating and not moving a single muscle as they felt their comrade died.
