Chapter 23 - The Battle of Dressrosa (Part 2)

It was apparent that Sunny would be attacked. However, Brook never thought it'd be attacked by a woman with powers over art itself. It felt a bit strange that he had to fight such an old lady. However, she was mercilessly trying to kill both Chopper and Momo. So he had no choice. This was a war against the Doflamingo Family, plain and simple. The Straw Hats were angry at the children's treatments in Punk Hazard, enough to curse the Doflamingo Family. Conversely, the Family was mad that four of their members were already dead, and one had betrayed them. However, strangely enough, this old lady had come alone to the enemy's territory. Perhaps there was a scout reporting there were only a woman, a raccoon dog, and a child on the ship and overlooked the walking talking skeleton?

In any case, time for mercies was already over. The Straw Hats weren't so merciful towards an enemy that wanted to murder them for real. And so Brook unveiled his blade and ended her life. Her throat had a gaping hole that extended to the back of her sipe, tearing cleanly, the area around it frosted, and a deathly cold filled her open throat. And again, another flash and another hole appeared in the middle of her face. Right where her nose was. She lifted to feel her nose and felt a spongy feeling as she started lacking breathing. Her lungs were not working. Her lungs were not working.

She couldn't breathe, her lungs—

"We need to stop killing people on our deck. Sunny's crying with all the blood here."

"That was quite brutal, Brook."

"Well, well… it may have looked like that, but I guarantee she didn't feel any pain. She only felt uncomfortable that she could not breathe. The chill made her nerves freeze up. The brain was too late to recognize the pain before she passed away. Yohoho."

"Bonekichi is scary."

Momo approached. He came to a land where executions were the norm. He saw many people die, and he saw his own father be executed. At this point in life, a little bit of gore wasn't going to faze him. Though he still gave respect towards the body of the old lady who tried to kill him.

Sora was fighting Fujitora while Law was matching Doflamingo. She couldn't help but feel that she got the worst opponent of all. While she dispatched Vergo pretty quickly, this time, she felt a bit outmatched. By no means, Doflamingo and Fujitora were too strong. But she felt matched with, more-or-less, equal opponents the first time she came here, as they could handle her strikes without even dying. She would need to fight with her all this time. No holding back now that she knew they were this strong. However, that Gravity fruit was also a pretty lousy matchup to a close-quarters fighter. Fujitora could use horizontal gravity to blast her back and make an invisible shield around him that crushed those that got close. Gravity against each other in a maelstrom made her leg muscles ache, even though these muscles were more potent than ten tons of steel. Fujitora was an awful matchup.

However, Sora wasn't brought up as a fighter to keep complaining about stuff like this. So she helped Law fight a Warlord and fight an Admiral as they got cornered on Green Bit.

"I guess we're far enough so we can go all out."

Fujitora stopped himself, and all combatants, as well as Usopp and Robin, who were helping, stopped as the Admiral stopped. Fujitora raised his blade and then swung down with all his force, raining down wear three meteors summoned by the man himself. Then a maelstrom of gravity pushed everyone down. Even his own ally Doflamingo was affected. Sora had no choice but to raise her body and meet one of the meteors head-on with her legs. She put every bit of her Haki and then smashed it with her leg. Her leg was a spear of hot fire as she cracked open a meteor, like an egg. Saying that the other two meteors kept falling. Usopp acted with Robin to build a net of green, while Robin's giant hands tried to make it, but it was too late. The two other meteors fell down and burned the net to cinders. It was up to Law to cut open the other two while Doflamingo used his strings to make a knit ball around him for protection. Law cut the two meteors, and as the pieces of it went to all sides. It crashed with the force of a thousand bombs. Of course, Robin and Usopp couldn't have survived that, so Sora appeared in front of them. And as fast as relativistic, she cut through the shockwave and debris with her legs. While Robin and Usopp were safely behind her. Sora breathed hard.

"I'm sorry, Sora, you've been protecting us this entire time."

"Guargh, i—if you hadn't appeared, we would be dead ten times by now."

Usopp and Robin thanked her, though they were told about Haki yesterday, it wasn't enough time to train them into it. And Haki was something you could learn in theory, but the best practice was deadly battles where your whole soul is put to the test. The accumulation of those experiences makes the strongest Haki. This battle, where everything is at stake, was the best moment for both Robin and Usopp to learn and engrave that feeling into their soul. They weren't unscathed though there were massive purple bruises and deep cuts on their bodies—a side-effect of battling an Admiral and a Warlord for so long. But there was a distinct fire in their eyes.

X❖X

Fires of cannonballs rained in the ship. Brook and Chopper did their best to cut them down as Nami steered the boat away. The cannon fire was indiscriminate as it rained down on both the ship and at the island. Nami hoped those canon fires were not going into the city. Nami did not want innocent people dead because of Big mom's vendetta against Luffy. Nami remembered how Luffy had directly challenged the Big Mom pirates back at the Ryugu Kingdom. However, she did not think they would seek out the Straw Hats so soon and want to overwhelm them with their massive pirate ship. Nami paled as she saw the vessel casting shadows on Sunny. There was a happy face smiling at the front of Big mom's ship and shadowy figures upon the top, on which there were many challenging warriors, all wanting the blood of the Straw Hats.

I think we may have made too many enemies. And, of course, Luffy isn't going to help us, is he? He's so bullheaded and reckless it's insane. Arrrgh, he's really bullheaded at times like these. So bullheaded it makes me mad!

It would be so simple if he just came to our rescue and destroyed Big Mom's ship, but noooo. Arrrgh, I'm going to pull his ear hard next time I see him.

Leaving all the problems for us to solve, it's like he trusts us or something. Oh, he shouldn't~.

The Straw Hats were weak to compliments, and being relied on, Nami was the same.

He said so himself yesterday. That he wanted this to be a challenge to all of them. He wasn't going to help them out of a pinch this time. He wanted them to act by themselves. And true enough, while the Emperors were their true enemies. Nami did not think Big Momo was on that massive ship, not at all. It was being operated by very few warriors from what Nami could see. So they had their hands full at steering that ship alone. And Sunny was speedier, so evasive maneuvers in the face of that gigantic ship twice the size of a battleship were easy going.

However, it was only a matter of time before the Big Mom pirates thought their hail of cannonballs was taking too long and would actually send warriors down. Right now, the Big Mom Pirates just thought they could sink the Sunny and be done with it. However, once that notion passed, then they were really in trouble.

It was at this moment when Nami was busy with steering that Trafalgar Law called.

There was trouble on the island near Dressrosa. They needed to go to Green Bit to save them.

But we're running away from a bigger problem, even. What is this? An Emperor's army, an Admiral and his soldiers, and a Warlord and his massive family? The New World really is such a pain~. Ah, I want to go to a spa resort. I want to have a lot of money. There is a casino island somewhere in this ocean, right? I want to go there. I need a vacation~.

Nami moaned her woes as she expertly avoided the canon ball hail. They needed to make their getaway. Chopper's fists were already bleeding from hitting so many cannonballs away. And she didn't even know how Brook's thin blade was still hanging on.

Usopp combined both his oil plants and a bludgeoning plant to cause a spark and explode in the face of Doflamingo. Then from below the smoke, a ballistae lant, launching a red fruit that had sparks of flames. It hit right in Doflamingo's face, making red spots.

"…I hit him?"

Like being bruised hard, there was a bit of blood running. And a very pissed-off face. The nerves of Doflamingo's head literally popped in pure anger. After that, Doflamingo passed a hand on his cheek, taking off the blood. It was nothing much, just a few drops, however…

"To think I would be hit by such trash. You really, really want to die, don't you, long-nosed brat?!" The low voice of their significant enemy sent absolute chills down Usopp's spine.

"Hiiiiii."

Why was he here fighting the main boss of all people?

This was the job of Lu—

For some reason, Usopp could sense he would die, and then he avoided his death by sliding under a tree branch. There was nothing there, but Usopp had done it all the same, and he saw the result. The tree branch was cut neatly, and several trees after that were razed just the same. For some reason, he's been feeling this way ever since a few months back. When things would otherwise hit him, he could feel something and then avoid them as they came. And when he was concentrated enough, he could somehow sense where his targets were located. Usopp couldn't use it well, but yesterday after Punk Hazard, Luffy commented on something called Haki. Usopp didn't' feel like it was something he could ever achieve, to be honest. He was just a regular guy with a slingshot and some special seeds and ammo. Facing major threats like this wasn't like him. Why the hell was Luffy relaxing with some tea someplace else? Usopp should have foreseen this from the sadistic smile his Captain had as he laid out the plan. Now that Usopp thought about it, there was no task on that plan that Luffy would perform. The others were so caught up in their tasks that they didn't see that their Captain literally had no objectives.

"Grrr, I'm going to hit him in the head when this is all over."

"Over, I guess It's over for you?"

Doflamingo cut off his path, and his colossal palm was approaching Usopp's face. Usopp flinched back and fired three green parasitic spikes. However, they were blocked by some black substance on Doflamingo's abdomen. Yet, once again, Usopp was saved. And as funny as it was, Law had shifted Usopp's position with Admiral Fujitora. Therefore Fujitora acted quickly to block the massive attack from Doflamingo's murderous threads. As a result, the Haki clash blasted Usopp back several hundred meters. Sora arrived with tired eyes. However, she blasted off towards both Doflamingo and Fujitora again and entered a fight. Law quickly joined her with all they had. Fujitora was really the biggest problem, throwing down meteors from the sky as he pleased and even using horizontal gravity to blast Sora's kicks away. Yet, she was able to bruise him.

And any time she was able to make an attempt to kill Fujitora, Doflamingo would intervene to kill her instead. He was really looking forward to killing all the Straw Hats without any mercy and without any warning. So she had to fight a super-tough tag-team of an Admiral and a Warlord that took cheap shots, while that Admiral kept both Law and her at a massive disadvantage due to how powerful his gravity control was. Thankfully Usopp and Robin had escaped deeper within Green Bit. She had it to give respect to Usopp. The man fought this tag team together with Robin and Law until they arrived here at Green Bit. What was intimidating is that she could feel the eyes of her Captain, overlooking her battle here, almost as if he were watching the entire thing from the house back then. This powerful observation Haki was only felt by her because she was well-attuned to her Captain's presence, unlike the Admiral and Warlord she was fighting. She still didn't know why he refused to fight since he could just appear and destroy both Doflamingo and Fujitora.

Well, he already stated that Doflamingo was Law's prey. He wouldn't even lift a finger there. However, she didn't think he'd let an Admiral do the things he did right now, without him intervening and wanting to kill all marines, as he proclaimed.

Almost as if he were worried about something else instead.

And she was right. Luffy stayed stationary to see if those people were going to move or not. CP0 was here, and if they moved an inch, Luffy would kill all of them. It was a game of two stationary Queens, if CP0 moved an inch, Luffy would know where they were, and he would strike. That was why he was in the field of flowers or in the city. And constantly checking to see if his crew members were alright. In any case, he was not holding their hand here in this conflict at all. Their enemies were theirs to fight. He wasn't about to intervene in any of them. A laissez-faire attitude. If they couldn't deal with a Warlord by themselves at this stage, then a fight against an Emperor was a pipe dream. As spoken earlier, he wasn't about to let Fujitora leave the island alive either.

It was unfortunate that afterward, both Usopp and Robin, as wounded as they are, fell into a hole as they fled the brutal battle. And then, they entered the land of the Tontattas.

Leaving both Sora and Law to freely go all out above as they faced the two opponents. At this moment, he got a call from the ship Sunny. They were being attacked by Big Mom. Law was a bit desperate. However, there could be a plan of escape. And he couldn't let another Emperor make a mess of things here. The presence of Law, Zoro, and Luffy were more than enough to deal with everything here. Sora was needed somewhere else right now.

"Your ship, they are being attacked by Big Mom's ship. As I said before, I need to go to Zou after this. It's in the plan to bring Kaido down. My crew is there."

"You want me to lead the ship away."

"Yeah, here's the Vivre Card for my crew. I have other pieces. Just follow it towards Zou. Now, let's call our captain."

Law picked up his baby Transponder Snail and called towards Luffy so he could hear what was happening.

"Captain, are you there?"

"Sora, huh? How's the fight with the little Admiral going?"

"So you do know what's happening. Do you know that Big Mom is also attacking Sunny?"

"Yeah, I stopped the cannonballs from reaching the city. Right now, I'm with Baby 5. I'll be sending Zoro and Viola towards the palace again. They'll finish everything off there."

"So… was Usopp, Robin, and Law's infiltration, just a distraction."

Almost as if Luffy had complete control over the chessboard, he murmured, 'Yes.' Sora was utterly baffled. Her captain was never that intelligent.

"That's a bit rude, I might not be the smartest, but I know exactly how my opponent moves. I am a battle genius after all, or at least Ray considers me to be one. I might not know my stuff or anything else, but I know my enemies and how to make them bleed."

Luffy was not knowledgeable. He was not smart by normal means. However, he was a person that could deeply empathize with the enemy. He was able to put himself in his enemies' shoes and know how they would act. That was why he wasn't pursuing his brother's fruit because he knew it was a trap. While not the strongest fighter, Franky could also challenge himself and grow stronger in that setting, so Luffy let that happen after Franky called him. The combination of Law, Usopp, and Robin were the better ones to draw the threats away from the palace, so Zoro and Viola could utterly wreck it. He could not send Zoro alone because the man would inevitably get lost.

Law was it irritated that this was the man he got into an alliance with. The man was genuinely insufferable, egomaniac, self-absorbed. Law could go on and on but, he could not shake the notion that there was a bit of insecurity in Luffy's voice over the call, almost as if he was not sure of himself and this plan. Luffy trusted his crew to get the job done, but this was the first time he took a seat back against a Warlord. There was still that particular fear that things might go wrong, but this was a mother hen instinct to protect her chicks. His crew had trained for two years. This was the first challenging situation. If they couldn't get it done, then challenging an Emperor was a pipe-dream.

"Anyways, let's talk in-depth later, Straw Hat-ya, right now your ship is being attacked by Big Mom. I am ordering Sora to go with them and go towards Zou instead while drawing away Big Mom."

"….I see… be careful, Sora. There are some tough people on that ship. Maybe even tougher than that little Warlord you guys are fighting, only marginally, though. If you get out of the chessboard, I won't be able to come to your aid if you get into a terrible situation."

"So all this time, I've been fighting a Warlord and an Admiral, you've been watching me."

The Transport Snail put a gentle voice as both of them fled from the Admiral and the Warlord.

"Of course, I'm watching all my friends as they fight, why wouldn't I? I promised to protect your dream as well, Sora."

Luffy closed the call and left Sora a bit embarrassed by his words.

Law and Sora nodded to each other. Sora then drew the Admiral farther away from Law, leaving him alone with Doflamingo. Now it was time to make his retreat to Dressrosa and go towards Green Bit. Robin and Usopp had also retreated earlier, which made his job that much easier. There were a few bruises on his face, and there was a bit of blood running down a horizontal cut from his forehead, but still, he faced the monster wearing the feathered coat, Doflamingo.

X❖X

"I didn't want to leave before I gave you a good hit. I can't let things go with you getting all the hits on me, and I can't be drawing any blood, can I?"

Her foot got out of Fujitora's jaw. The man groaned in pain. And then, put his jaw back in place, his dislocated jaw was instantly put into place. Regardless of how hard Sora hit him, he spat two whole globs of blood on the grass. What a badass old man he was, what a pain-in-the-ass old man he was. He took a hit that would generally decapitate a thousand men in a row. And only got away with a dislocated jaw he immediately fixed.

However, by the time he was ready to fight again. Sora was already going towards the sea. Furthermore, he raised his sword and slashed in a last-ditch attempt at killing her. Of course, an Admiral would want to kill her. She was the subordinate of a mass murderer of Navy men. Regardless of what she really was, there would be no mercy from the higher-up marines. The slash of the Admiral's sword brought forth five meteors.

Sora looked at her golden lighter and sighed. She was really getting tired.

Her legs shone like a brilliant star. And then she deflected all five meteors towards the ship of Big Mom.

Fujitora was also surprised to see Big Mom's massive battleship. And watched closely where his meteors would land.

And then, something happened that surprised the Sora who was landing on Sunny, as the other Straw Hats that hugged her in relief.

There were two people on Big Mom's ship that made Sora pause and stare. The same happened to Fujitora, who was still on the shore of Green Bit.

"Biscuit Bash."

A deep voice resounded, and three biscuit-like shields bashed the meteors away as they fell towards Green Bit. Fujitora groaned and sliced them away from him, and they landed away from him, causing a massive fireball again. There it was, on the ship, a soldier made of biscuits, with a deep voice and scarred face. He was Cracker of the thousand arms or the Biscuit Knight. Regardless of his cute title as a biscuit man, he was still an 860 million man, named one of the 3 sweet generals. Cracker was one of the top dogs of Big Mom's army and Charlotte's tenth son. Even an absolute monster like Fujitora wouldn't take them lightly.

Captains worth 800 million or more were extremely rare. A subordinate worth like that was just a monster in human form.

However, he wasn't the only thing to be afraid of. The other two meteors were stopped by two hands by another person. This time it was a tall and long woman with white hair and dark skin. She smiled as the two meteors were wrangled like juice, and their fiery liquid was absorbed into her. Her power grew as she drank the fluid of two flaming rocks as hot as 2000 Kelvin. Without even using Haki, she stopped two balls of destruction raining from space. The biggest problem in that ship had arrived. She drew a bastard sword and a spiral lance.

She wrangled both her sword and her lance. Making them as thin as they could. And then thrust her lance towards Fujitora and forced her sword towards Sunny. By a stroke of luck, Sora immediately turned the ship starboard. Making the swipe of fury pass by them, cutting the ocean into two.

Fujitora was surprised, the lance built an air press that also split the ocean in half, and then the slash arrived onto the shore. Cutting the crust of the island into two. Until it reached Fujitora, making him block the strike with his sword. Then he was pushed for twenty meters before stopping.

She was a 900 million berry woman named Charlotte Smoothie, another of the sweet generals and Charlotte's strongest daughter. An opponent that was even more potent than Cracker was.

"As always, the subordinates of an Emperor are a bit of a pain," Fujitora muttered as a matter-of-fact. However, his subordinates contacted him before he could pursue.

"Issho-san, Law has escaped to the bridge. We still don't know where the Straw Hat Luffy is located."

"We can't fight the Big Mom Pirates and hope to defeat both Straw Hat Luffy and Doflamingo at the end of the day. It is unfortunate, but we must let the Straw hat subordinates go."

Fujitora said as he relaxed. His mission was to bring down both Doflamingo and Monkey D. Luffy. The Navy was working with Doflamingo to kill the subordinates of the Straw Hat, but he was utterly unable to kill Sora at the end of the day. Law also proved himself to be worthy of that 900 million bounty. Fujitora really wanted to thin out the Straw Hat numbers before facing the primary foe. However, things were getting too complicated. The idea was to kill Straw Hat in that restaurant casino earlier on. However, Fujitora doubted himself. When he saw Straw Hat Luffy at that bar, he frankly doubted he could beat the man.

Fujitora had to deal with all these big names. He couldn't waste his time on the two generals of Charlotte there on the ship. He could not sense the last general, neither Big Mom on the warship of theirs. So it was safe to say it wouldn't be getting too complicated. At least the marines hoped the Big Mom pirates would finish the Straw Hats fleeing from Dressrosa. It was weird hoping that the subordinates of an Emperor, their enemy, would help them, but the enemy of their enemy wasn't their enemy for the time being.

Too confusing?

Suffice to say, the Navy hated the Straw Hats way more than they hated Big Mom, despite both practicing cruelties upon the Navy.

It could be argued that Big Mom killed way more Navy men than Luffy had in her lifetime. However, this was all due to recency bias. They wouldn't forget what happened to the celebrated Vice-Admiral Momonga or forgive. At the very least, they would take the heads of Luffy and Zoro today.

It was why the Pirate Hunter had an updated bounty of more than 500 million.

The Navy wouldn't forget this grudge that easily.

And after all that, they had another mission. The Navy here still needed to deal with a Warlord who got too greedy for his own good.

Admiral Fujitora and his two Vice-Admirals were way too busy for comfort today, and the subordinates really hoped they could ask for bonus pay for all this. Typically, this would be a buster call, to sink both the Warlord and the hated Pirate Monkey D. Luffy. However, the other Vice-Admirals were still scouring the seas for the Woman of Regression. The Navy believed that woman had the powerful Dyna Stones at her side. However, no hair or hide of her was found. And another part of the Navy was preparing for the Reverie. An event that would happen in a few weeks from now.

The Navy was stretched way too thin.

And yet, they still wouldn't let Doflamingo go on with his crimes against the Government.

And they would never forgive Straw Hat, Monkey D. Luffy.

Fujitora would not leave this island without the heads of both the Pirate Hunter and Straw Hat.

It was a promise.

X❖X

Cracker struck with his sword, and then Sora was hit with a total power Haki slash. The likes of what Zoro could have done. She enhanced the leg and hit Cracker in the shin. However, his sword blocked it. And she was only able to chip the thing. However, she spun again and kicked him in the face. Though, she was surprised he didn't crack his skull with that. In fact, he protected his whole face with Haki And then laughed as Smoothie wrangled her lance and struck again. Sora avoided that lance with all her might. Then the wind generated from that pierce blasted the ocean as a thin round hole was formed and extended until the sediment on the ocean floor. Using that opportunity, Sora struck again at Cracker with more and more kicks. However, all she did was make his arms numb.

This is going nowhere. How strong are they?

This dance continued on and on until Sora was covered with cuts, and Cracker was full of fractures and bruises. Of course, Smoothie was the bigger problem for them. However, Sora could never hit a woman, no matter what. All she could do was parry and try to disarm, but that was literally impossible. Because Sora realized Smoothie was incredibly powerful. On the other hand, Cracker was already getting tired, though he was unrelenting, not caring about which bones Sora broke. And she had to deal with his enhanced biscuit shields, which were a massive pain. She did not know he was using a cookie armor and his injuries were just for show.

The rain did not relent at the high seas as they escaped. And the typhoon was worsening. Nevertheless, they were heading towards water tornadoes. Sora just had to keep these two at bay while brook and Nami attacked the Big Mom's ship and while Chopper navigated through stormy waters. They needed a chance to use Coup de Burst.

"I'm sorry, but we're going. We don't have time for you people right now."

"You'll regret those words. We'll hunt down the Straw Hats no matter where they are." Smoothie said with rage in her blue eyes and her white hair flaring with wrath.

"You only attacked because you knew Luffy wasn't on the ship. Face it, you won't go back to Dressrosa to face Luffy, even though he's there. Because you guys aren't sure, you can take him without dying yourselves."

"YOU BITCH!" Cracker raged at Sora's comments.

"Tch, you can say whatever you'd like. Your Captain will learn respect, one way or another." Smoothie commented with her low voice.

"Unfortunately for you guys, I am not so easy to beat. Neither are my crewmates. You better try again next time. Though perhaps we'll be even stronger than we're now. I'll be saying goodbye to you with this little kick. Cracker."

Her leg tuned pure black, and then star-like patterns surged from a portion that burned brighter than the sun could. The biscuits next to her started to melt and revealed Cracker's true form. Smoothie began to lose liquid. Preventing what could be a disaster. Smoothie used her white spiral lance and her bastard sword and wrangled them until they were as thin as a follicle of hair. And then used her Haki, trembling waves of white filled her weapons. And then she struck vertically at Sora. However, that leg was able to block the attack that parted the sea and hit the crust. Sora looked down as countless flesh wounds opened and burst with blood from her own body. The attack from Smoothie had taken its toll As red liquid descended her forehead and passed her eyes and cheek. Sora looked forward and kicked towards the ship. A whiplash of flames came down. Cracker created countless biscuits to deflect the kick to the side. And enhanced all of them with black Haki.

"AAAAHHHHHH!"

Cracker yelled as a flash of the brilliant white kick filled their vision. He put all of his being into the Haki to protect them. And yet that single kick blasted off half their ship away along with his biscuit shields.

Smoothie and Cracker were on the ground. However, they were still primed for combat.

The ship was not destroyed because Cracker was able to deflect the attack to the side, not block it. The sea itself was another thing.

A hole appeared on the side of Big Mom's ship, where once water stood. Almost like a meteor had landed on dirt. However, this time the crater was on the sea. Cracker had his time dilated as he saw the water began to fill the hole, dragging Big Mom's ship with it. Smoothie got up and rushed to help the vessel stay stable. Cracker couldn't use his power or Haki any longer, his back was on the deck, and he couldn't lift another finger. Cracker had received the brunt of the damage of Sora's kick, and if Smoothie wasn't tag-teaming her with him, he'd probably be dead by now. However, his pride wouldn't admit to that, and his envy flared up.

And while they were helplessly trying to survive being swallowed by the water, the Straw Hats made to leave.

Sora fell towards her ship, all with fractured bones and massive cuts to her body. She was bleeding heavily. She fought two Vice-Admirals yesterday, and then she fought a Warlord and an Admiral tag team, helping Law fight both monsters at the same time. And after all that, she fought two commanders of an Emperor while protecting her friends and ship from their army's strikes.

Commendable and praiseworthy were cheap compliments.

Sora was just extraordinary and incredibly resilient.

She fell towards the ship and raised two middle fingers towards Cracker and Big Mom's ship with a last-ditch of rebellion. The two commander's both saw that and raged hard.

That middle finger wasn't for you, Smoothie.

However, the battle was done, the typhoon was too great, and the Big Mom's ship was almost being swallowed by the water currents pushing them into the crater being filled.

Brook and Chopper picked up her bloody self, and she rested in their hands. Nami rushed to the front and pushed the levers necessary for a Coup de Burst. Momo looked at everything with wonder in his eyes as they flew past the stormy clouds. Sora looked forward to more intense fights like these. Though she was too conflicted, there were a lot of strong enemies in the sea.

The New World was quite something.

Could she have beat these two billionaire level opponents if she weren't that tired from fighting an Admiral and a Warlord?

Sora smiled. Of course, she could have.

Though she wouldn't wish to hurt a lady like Smoothie, her legs were too long and dreamy to be hurt.

Chopper attended her wounds as they left for Zou, as per Law and Luffy's orders.

Sora closed her eyes and breathed a long sigh.
