[T/N: Pff, I thought this chapter was posted last month! XD. I clicked on the wrong month for auto release. Anyway here it is, kinda disappointing to be honest.]
After returning to his lair, Voldemort crafted a hand similar to the one he had previously given to Wormtail. Furious over recent failures, he commanded his followers to appear in London and spread cursed fire indiscriminately.
Large swaths of the capital became engulfed in flames until the Ministry of Magic mobilized and, with assistance from the International Confederation of Wizards, managed to extinguish the cursed fire and regain control of the situation. However, this attack resulted in a global backlash. Magical communities worldwide united against the United Kingdom, accusing it of endangering the secrecy of the magical world.
This culminated in a direct intervention by a coalition of foreign Aurors, significantly curtailing the autonomy of the British Ministry of Magic. These measures were sanctioned by both the Crown and the Prime Minister as a last resort. Within an hour, the British Ministry of Magic fell silent under coordinated assaults. It was attacked externally by members of the International Confederation of Wizards and internally by Unspeakables who had remained hidden in the lower levels of the Ministry.
Lucius Malfoy met a grisly end, being literally torn into three parts by a pair of witches. Ironically, one of these witches was a descendant of the French branch of the Malfoy family, long thought to have been extinguished. Meanwhile, Hogwarts succumbed with little resistance. The faculty offered no real opposition, only Severus Snape managed to escape via Apparition, though he left one of his hands behind, a severe blow for a potioneer.
Draco Malfoy, along with several others, attempted to resist when caught exploiting young students from prominent families. He barely survived a few months in Azkaban before dying, effectively ending the Malfoy bloodline. Narcissa Malfoy mourned her son only briefly, fully aware of the inevitable consequences of his actions.
Death Eaters were systematically hunted down. Those who surrendered were imprisoned, while those who resisted were eliminated. Several ancient wizarding families faced near-total destruction due to their allegiance to Voldemort's ideology. By the time peace was restored, the British magical community had suffered devastating losses.
Voldemort and his remaining followers fled to Albania, executing a daring escape through Azkaban before using Apparition over the sea. Many of his followers failed to Apparate successfully and perished. Among them was Severus Snape, who, traumatized and weakened by the loss of his hand, could not muster the concentration needed for safe Apparition. Severely maimed, Snape was ultimately put out of his misery by Voldemort's own hand. When they reached safety, Voldemort's forces had dwindled to barely thirty, and few of those remaining were skilled fighters.
Voldemort, realizing his dream of conquering Britain had become unattainable, resigned himself to hiding and waiting for another opportunity. Albus Dumbledore, meanwhile, fared no better. His steadfast commitment to granting second chances left him paralyzed during the Death Eater purges. When the International Confederation of Wizards took control, Dumbledore vocally opposed their methods. However, by direct decree of the Queen, he was removed from all governmental positions, including his role as Headmaster of Hogwarts. The aging wizard refused to believe that a Muggle could possess the authority to strip him of power.
Despite his protests and repeated attempts to appeal to the Crown, Dumbledore was unable to regain his positions. His reputation suffered further when it became widely known that he was a master of Legilimency. His supporters also faced severe consequences, like him, they were barred from holding government positions. The Weasley family, in particular, was heavily affected, with only the twins and Charlie avoiding disgrace by relocating to Ireland. The three Weasleys reinvented themselves, changing their surname to Prowler, which meant "Marauder" in Irish. They established a successful joke shop and a magical creature sanctuary on the Emerald Isle.
Harry Potter and his allies endured a few isolated attacks in Ireland before Voldemort's forces were fully neutralized. A year later, Voldemort made a final desperate attempt to attack a gathering of werewolves on the longest night of the year. During this attack, Harry and his companions were forced to reveal themselves as lupinids. They swiftly eradicated the Death Eaters, with Voldemort himself falling in a duel against a transformed Harry. Hermione Granger easily dispatched a stunned Fenrir Greyback.
Harry, eschewing magic, confronted Voldemort directly. After evading several spells, he struck with his claws, slicing Voldemort into six pieces. The Dark Lord's last moments were spent staring at his dismembered body, his soul finally unanchored and unable to avoid death.
The revelation of the lupinids' existence led other werewolf packs to seek transformation. Over the next few years, these transformations were carefully managed, with priority given to the youngest members of each pack. Those transformed also received training at the Black Academy. When the lupinid nation formally presented itself to the world, it received numerous invitations for collaboration from packs worldwide. Ironically, lycanthropy as a curse seemed destined to vanish from the magical world.

Epilogue
--------------------
After Voldemort's defeat, widespread protests and demands from the wizarding community, as well as intervention by the Queen, pressured the International Confederation of Wizards to relinquish control of Britain. Governance was returned to the British wizarding population, with significant reforms. A group of Muggle-born wizards joined the Queen's security detail, and a new advisory position, the Royal Wizard, was established to manage relations between the Crown and the magical community.
The British magical world began modernizing rapidly, though progress was incremental even with magic. The Wizengamot was restructured to prevent future crises. A new chamber was created, blending the inherited seats of ancient families with elected representatives chosen by the wizarding population. This new governing body aimed to balance tradition with democracy.
On Black Island, all its residents chose to embrace their lupinid nature. To Astoria's delight, Grim companions of all sizes began appearing on the academy grounds. Fleur Delacour and Nymphadora Tonks both found partners among visiting American tribes, and their families thrived in various fields over the following years.
Minerva McGonagall, Pomona Sprout, and Filius Flitwick also chose to become lupinids, each receiving a Grim companion. Pomona's Grim loved digging and lounging on the grass, while Minerva's was a dignified elder female who enjoyed caring for younglings. Filius' Grim astonished everyone with its immense size, earning admiration wherever it went.
Harry and Hermione embraced the newfound peace to travel the world. Within two years, they welcomed their first children, twin boys. Over the next six years, their family grew to include two daughters and another set of twins, a boy and a girl. Harry and Hermione became celebrated as the progenitors of a new magical race destined to flourish.
The British magical community experienced a cultural and social renaissance, driven by families of non-magical descent who introduced fresh perspectives and innovations. New surnames joined the annals of magical history, standing alongside legends like Merlin and the founders of Hogwarts. Among them were Potter, Black, Greengrass, Longbottom, Davies, Bones, and Granger.
[T/N: This was actually less of a summary than I thought so I decided to leave it as is. I also realised this would be like 40+ chapters if I tried to do it justice, which I'm not ready to try doing yet. ]
