"Alpha Xavier, this is the spot." One of his rangers assigned to guard this area showed him the location of the crime.
It was where a human body was found in the middle of the forest, savaged by a wild animal. At least, that was what the autopsy would suggest.
"But are you sure this is not just a bear attack?" He inquired, confirming there was no mistake in the investigation.
The area was a known breeding ground for bears. Therefore, the authorities would conclude that it might be an animal attack.
However, his werewolf rangers believed it was not. "I saw the body myself." His ranger assured him that he did not doubt that the culprit was one of their kind.
"What about evidence? Did you find any?" He needed to know if they had a suspect.
It was already the fourth human body found. Yet, nobody still had any clue who was doing it. Many of their kind blamed the rogue. But they still needed proof to pinpoint them to the real culprit.
