"Finally, we thought you already abandoned us, Alpha." A loud, mocking voice boomed in every corner of the room.
He could not blame him for feeling that way when it had been a while since he had visited. In his defense, he had been busy with his obligations and trying to remedy his curse.

"Oh, shut up, Gustavo. I know you miss having our son around. I know I do." His mother immediately enveloped him in her warm embrace.
"Don't mind your father. He is just a grumpy, old man because he had nothing much to do since you took his place." Fiona tapped him in the hand before letting him go.
