What had she done? Questioning her brain, thinking she might have loosened a few screws since she had seen him again.
How else could she explain her questionable actions?
"Don't worry. I was not planning on taking over your company. I just wanted to see what I invested into." He explained when he followed her into the privacy of her office.

Of course, she doubted his intention as she looked up from her desk and stared at him. She could only assume this was just another one of his tricks, remembering the buried clauses in their contract.
"I bet." She splashed her voice with much cynicism. "After all, you are the most honest and trustworthy person I ever known."
By all means, she meant the opposite.
