"What are you doing, man?" His friend strode toward him, looking at him like he had gone insane. "I barely saw you. Have you forgotten that you also have a company to run?"
He could not blame his friend for feeling that way. After all, he had been so busy with his wife's business that he hardly visited and checked on his company.
But in his defense, he knew his friend could handle the daily operations. He was not worried since he knew his business was in good hands.
"I think you are doing a great job. So, there is no need for the theatrics, Douglas." He called his friend by his full name, reminding his friend that he trusted him.
"Anyway, I am here now. Do you have news for me?" He checked the files that were already on his desk, checking them according to their urgency.
"There were some issues with the shipments of the construction materials of the new Windresort Hotel. But I already settled it last night." Doug explained.
