She was glad her friend could come by today because she had several things to discuss with him. Truthfully, she could use his help in her ongoing project.
She had worked hard on her research for years. But she was stuck. She thought Dr. Levi might be right. She might need fresh eyes who could help her with her project.
"You might say I'm surprised, Saige. I thought you were not interested in partnering with me." Dr. Gordon, her friend, told her.
She could not blame him for feeling that way. She had been avoiding him, always making excuses not to see him. But she had her reasons for doing so.
But so far, the only person with more experience in this field than her would be him. She believed she would need his expertise and all the help she could get.
